Full Job Description

As Manager, People Technology & Analytics, you'll serve as a key conduit between the People Team (e.g., People Partners, Talent, Total Rewards), IT, Payroll, Finance, and the broader business-translating business and employee needs into scalable technology solutions, reliable data architecture, and actionable workforce analytics.

As a technology-forward company, Ro employees have high expectations for intuitive systems, seamless experiences, and high-quality support. This role will play an important part in shaping how employees interact with People systems and services by building efficient workflows, scalable self-service experiences, intelligent automations, and AI-enabled solutions that improve both operational efficiency and the employee experience.

At the same time, you will help strengthen the company's workforce data and analytics capabilities-ensuring People data is accurate, well-governed, and transformed into meaningful insights that support strategic planning, organizational effectiveness, and business decision-making.

This role is ideal for someone who combines systems thinking, analytical rigor, and a startup mindset, and who is comfortable operating strategically while remaining hands-on when needed.

What You'll Do:

  • Own the People technology ecosystem, with UKG serving as the core system of record, ensuring systems are scalable, connected, and aligned to business needs
  • Govern and maintain organizational data structures including entities, departments, sub-departments, job codes, job architecture, reporting hierarchies, and naming conventions to ensure consistency and reporting integrity
  • Design and oversee People systems architecture and data flows across HR platforms (e.g., ATS, payroll, benefits, compensation, performance tools), ensuring accurate and reliable upstream/downstream integrations
  • Build and maintain People reporting, dashboards, and workforce analytics (within UKG and external BI/reporting tools) to support operational and executive decision-making
  • Analyze workforce data to identify trends, correlations, risks, and opportunities, and translate findings into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Partner cross-functionally with HR, IT, Payroll, Finance, and business leaders to align on systems strategy, data governance, reporting logic, and workforce metrics
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, integrity, and security across People systems and downstream reporting environments through audits, validation, and reconciliation processes
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, automate workflows, and improve reporting infrastructure, including leveraging AI and automation tools where appropriate
  • Oversee HR technology enhancements, integrations, and vendor partnerships, partnering with external consultants where appropriate for technical configuration work
  • Train and support stakeholders on People systems, reporting, and data interpretation, building scalable self-service reporting capabilities where possible
  • Identify complex system and data issues, recommend solutions, and drive resolution end-to-end

What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • 5-7+ years of experience in People Technology, HRIS, People Analytics, or related roles, including experience supporting and optimizing HR systems ecosystems
  • Strong experience with People reporting, workforce analytics, and dashboard development
  • Experience managing HRIS integrations, APIs, data feeds, and cross-system data flows
  • Strong understanding of organizational data structures and HR data governance principles
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into scalable systems, reporting, and analytics solutions
  • Proficiency in Excel and BI tools (e.g., Looker, Snowflake, Hex, Cognos BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Experience analyzing workforce data and translating insights into clear recommendations and business actions
  • Strong systems-thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to identify root causes and improve processes holistically
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive alignment across cross-functional teams
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a high degree of ownership and adaptability
  • Experience leveraging automation and/or AI tools to improve workflows, reporting, or operational efficiency (preferred)
  • Experience with UKG or comparable HRIS platforms strongly preferred

We've Got You Covered:

  • Full medical, dental, and vision insurance + OneMedical membership
  • Healthcare and Dependent Care FSA
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Flexible PTO
  • Wellbeing + Learning & Growth reimbursements
  • Paid parental leave + Fertility benefits
  • Pet insurance
  • Student loan refinancing
  • Virtual resources for mindfulness, counseling, and fitness

The target base salary for this position ranges from $115,600 - $145,500, in addition to a competitive equity and benefits package (as applicable). When determining compensation, we analyze and carefully consider several factors, including location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
