Full Job Description
Position:

The Manager, Patient Access & Trade Operations is responsible for the execution and day-to-day operational support of patient access programs and trade distribution activities for CorMedix's product portfolio. This role supports the operational delivery of hub services, free drug programs, and benefit and claims adjudication processes while ensuring efficient product flow through established distribution channels.

Working closely with the Executive Director, Trade & Distribution, this position focuses on operational coordination, issue resolution, and cross-functional execution.

Primary Responsibilities:

Patient Access & Services Operations
  • Support the day-to-day execution of patient& customer access programs, including hub services, specialty pharmacy programs free drug / bridge programs, ensuring processes operate as designed.
  • Act as an operational point of contact for patient services vendors, escalating issues and trends to leadership as appropriate.
  • Support benefit verification, benefit adjudication, and claims adjudication workflows by monitoring operational performance and identifying access-related issues.
  • Track and report on patient access metrics, service levels, and operational trends to support leadership decision-making.
  • Partner with Market Access, Sales, Operations, and Finance to resolve access-related issues impacting therapy initiation or continuation.

Trade & Distribution Operations
  • Support daily operational activities with 3PL providers, wholesalers, distributors, and specialty pharmacy partners to ensure timely and accurate product distribution.
  • Assist with the onboarding and implementation of new distribution partners and customer accounts.
  • Monitor trade partner activity for alignment with established Distribution Services Agreements and escalate discrepancies or issues as needed.
  • Review daily trade sales, ordering activity, and inventory movement to ensure alignment with demand and channel expectations.
  • Support product return processes in accordance with CorMedix's Returns Policy.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Compliance
  • Maintain open and effective communication across internal teams including Sales, Market Access, Operations, Finance, Legal, Production, and Compliance.
  • Support internal audits, documentation, and reporting related to trade and patient access operations.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, standard operating procedures, and regulatory requirements in all operational activities.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies, recommending enhancements to leadership.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required; preferably in Business, Life Sciences, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with hands-on experience in trade operations, patient services operations, market access operations, logistics, or supply chain.
  • Working knowledge of pharmaceutical commercial and access operations, including:
  • WAC pricing fundamentals
  • ASP concepts
  • Indirect distribution and chargebacks
  • Direct distribution via 3PLs
  • DSCSA and serialization basics
  • Experience supporting hub services, patient access programs, specialty pharmacy operations, or free drug programs preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple operational tasks and priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and issue-resolution capabilities.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across functions and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Comfortable working in a highly regulated environment and following defined processes and procedures.
  • Ability to analyze operational data and identify trends or issues.
  • Limited travel (up to 5%) for internal meetings, partner visits, or distribution site visits.
