JOB SUMMARY The Manager of Reporting and Analytics is responsible for leading a team of data professionals in delivering high-quality, actionable insights through advanced analytics, reporting solutions, and data visualization. This role combines technical expertise in modern data platforms (including SQL, Power BI, Azure Data & Analytics, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and Data Lake technologies) with strong leadership and people management skills. The ideal candidate will drive data strategy, ensure data integrity, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

EXPECTED WORK AND PERFORMANCE (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS) - Lead and manage a team of analysts, developers, and data engineers to deliver scalable reporting and analytics solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level dashboards and reports using Power BI and other visualization tools.
- Oversee data integration and transformation processes using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and security across all reporting platforms and data pipelines.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching and mentorship, and support career development for team members.
- Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data and analytics.
QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial role.
REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE - Proficiency in SQL for data querying, transformation, and optimization.
- Strong experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and report/dashboard design.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Services (Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake, Azure SQL).
- Experience with Databricks for data engineering and machine learning workflows.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience conducting performance reviews, setting goals, and managing team development plans.
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices in data environments.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
PREFERRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE - Experience with Python or R for data analysis and automation.
- Experience with data governance frameworks and tools (e.g., Purview).
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts and their application in business analytics.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and its integration with the broader Azure ecosystem.
ATTENDANCE/WORK LOCATION The position is based in our Richardson, TX or Memphis, TN office. Daily physical presence in the office is required for interaction with co-workers, attending meetings, and for collaboration on projects.
