BASIC PURPOSE:

Leads the business technology initiatives, data management, data design, data governance and reporting initiatives for the Community Investment Services Department. Responsible for overseeing system analysis and integration, vendor management, reporting, regulatory compliance, maintaining system policy and procedures, product release management, test strategy and execution, continuous process improvement, data design, reporting and data governance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Drives the advancement of business technology, serving as the visionary for emerging technologies to enhance the department's ongoing improvement initiatives.
  • Oversees vendor partnerships, fostering collaborations with cross-functional teams dedicated to developing technology applications for the department's needs.
  • Performs as a liaison between the Information Technology departments, collaborating on the development and writing of program specifications to meet the end user's desired goals and objectives effectively
  • Develops and maintains detailed documentation and procedures for the technology, system, and reporting aspects within the department.
  • Engages in discussions with Community Investment Services staff to ascertain project requirements. Analyzes and evaluates these requirements to devise a system plan aligning with user needs. Offers recommendations and aids management in executing complex, multi-departmental projects involving significant systems work and technical expertise.
  • Facilitates the initial development of system requirements for new online functions and ensures ongoing maintenance for production systems.
  • Coordinates user acceptance testing alongside business stakeholders for system modifications and enhancements.
  • Analyzes situations to identify system or application malfunctions, provides guidance to department managers on assessment, resolves the root cause of the malfunction, and keeps accurate records of technical issues and the resolutions.
  • Ensures adherence to regulatory standards while supervising the creation of accurate and timely reports for executive leadership, governing bodies, the board of directors, the Internal Audit department and the Federal Housing Finance Agency examiners.
  • Conducts quality control assessments on system-generated reports and downstreams systems, ensuring the achievement of relevant objectives
  • Creates training resources and delivers both internal and external training sessions on the utilization of Community Investment Services online systems. Conducts training sessions, including seminars and webinars, for external users.
  • Performs research and sustains advanced proficiency in systems software to ensure a superior quality in departmental operations and installations
  • Achieves performance metrics and adheres to set standards.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

  • Strong analytical, listening, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address relevant facts, identify alternative approaches, and recommend solutions to management.
  • Technologically proficient and advanced skill level in Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, and Business Objects is required.
  • Experience working with Salesforce, CRM, Workday and other financial management software systems Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

A bachelor's degree and five to seven years of experience with process improvement methodology, usability concepts, tools, and techniques, or the equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.

Work Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Atlanta, GA office. This position may not be filled in New Jersey, either in-person or remotely.

Work Schedule: Onsite with an opportunity to work remote partially.
