What We OfferThe Radiology Acute Care Manager will manage multiple service Lines and the operation and effectiveness of Radiology services in clinical standards, clinical competencies and protocols. The services lines include but not limited to diagnostic, OR, fluoroscopy, MRI, CT, US, NM, PET/CT, IR, Mammography, radiology nursing. The manager will ensure that all procedures include a process for inpatients, emergency department, and outpatients. The Radiology Manager will report directly to the Radiology Director or Radiology Vice President with matrix reporting to the facility leaders.
What We're Looking For- Education:
- 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required.
- Graduate Degree, preferred.
- Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program, Nuclear Medicine Program, or Sonography Program; or NMTCB-recognized Nuclear Medicine Program; or CAAHEP-approved Sonography Program, required.
- Experience:
- Minimum of five years manager or supervisor experience in clinical service lines, required.
- Licensure/Certification:
- Certified and registered by ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS - RT(R), CNMT, or RDMS, required.
- Applicable state license, required.
- Additional Skills (required):
- Thorough knowledge of principles in procedural areas. Considerable knowledge of state and federal regulations and general safety requirements. Skill in data analysis, organization, and presentation. Ability to manage departmental operations and provide support. Ability to work effectively with physicians, administration, and other departmental managers.
- Additional Skills (preferred):
- Strong leadership skills such as autonomy, creativity, innovation, cooperation, loyalty, independent judgement, ability to delegate, adaptability, perseverance, high energy level, perceptive, and strong work ethic. Thorough knowledge of procedures, technology and patient care.
