We drive growth for our partners and the Expedia Group marketplace through competitive supply and our leading advertising and travel media network.

Make An Impact!

We're looking for a Manager, Marketing Technology & Integrations to join the Martech Platform & Enablement team as the technical owner of the martech stack operations platform. This role holds the technical accountability in the team for platform setup, integrations, migration architecture, platform stability, and system-level troubleshooting. You'll define and prove technical solutions that improve scale and reduce manual effort-including AI-enabled workflows-while partnering with various teams to design data architectures, manage platform configurations, and drive migrations.

In This Role You Will:

SFMC Platform Administration

  • Manage environment strategy including sandbox vs. production configurations, user roles/permissions, authentication, IP/domain management, and security protocols.

  • Maintain comprehensive platform documentation and communications including system architecture, configurations, data models, operational runbooks, change management processes, and scheduled maintenance & outages across environments.

  • Serve as the escalation point for highly complex platform issues that Marketing Operations or other users cannot resolve independently, diving deep into system-level problems to diagnose root causes and implement solutions.

  • Manage support operations for Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including submitting and managing support cases, ensuring teams are set up for success.

Data & Integration Architecture

  • Partner with Data Engineering and CRM teams to design and implement out of the box data flows between marketing systems, as well as custom external data solutions when required.

  • Own technical decisions and design on data models, field mappings, event structures, and API usage; including extensions and payloads for campaign execution and orchestration.

  • Monitor and centrally track technical issues and implement preventive measures.

Migration Expertise

  • Help develop the end-to-end migration playbook to SFMC, including technical requirements, sequencing, and guardrails.

  • Partner with Marketing Operations teams to sequence migrations, validate technical readiness, and manage deprecation of legacy systems.

AI-Enabled Workflow Improvement & Technical Solutions

  • Implement and design scalable technical solutions and automation to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency across all teams.

  • Own the evaluation, design, and proof-of-concept development for AI-enabled solutions.

  • Partner with solutions and capability teams to lead expansion of technical solutions that support deeper team efficiency, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and security standards.

Platform Observability & Deliverability

  • Own the technical aspects of deliverability management including domain configuration, authentication setup, sending infrastructure, suppression mechanics, and technical risk remediation.

  • Monitor and maintain platform health metrics including integration stability, platform failures, data sync performance, API usage, and system-level performance indicators, establishing communication and preventive action.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in marketing technology with at least 4+ years as a hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud administrator in a B2B tech environment. Additional experience with Marketo a plus.

  • Deep technical expertise in SFMC architecture including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, and Data Extensions.

  • Strong experience with data integration technologies: APIs, SQL, AMPscript, SSJS, and data pipeline design including experience with data architecture concepts (normalization, many-to-many relationships, custom objects, event-driven data models, and data quality frameworks).

  • Experience with AI/ML tools and automation frameworks; proven ability to build proof-of-concepts for AI agents or intelligent automation solutions and scale them to production; strong ability to evaluate AI use cases for technical feasibility and business value.

  • Front-end development experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus, particularly for troubleshooting, maintaining, and working on email templates, landing pages, and dynamic content within SFMC.

  • Proven problem-solver who thrives in ambiguity; highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate cross-functional projects effectively.
