Position Summary

The Regional Logistics Manager serves as the primary operational liaison between Vertiv and the regional logistics operations. This role is responsible for overseeing daily warehousing and transportation operations, ensuring inventory accuracy and compliance, managing provider performance, and driving process improvements that support business objectives, customer requirements, and service expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own daily warehouse operations and 3PL execution, serving as the primary point of contact for coordination, issue resolution, and escalations
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and data integrity across all systems and partners through effective controls, reconciliations, audits, and change orders
  • Maintain operational governance and compliance, including adherence to SOPs, customer routing guides, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations
  • Manage provider performance and accountability, monitoring KPIs, service levels, and compliance while driving corrective actions as needed
  • Support customer relationships and service commitments by translating customer requirements into executable warehouse and 3PL processes
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, scalability, and cost control
  • Identify and mitigate operational and financial risks, including chargebacks, inventory exposure, and process breakdowns
  • Provide operational visibility and reporting to leadership, including performance trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Lead operational change management for system implementations, process changes, and go-live transitions, ensuring readiness and stability
  • Manage workforce administration activities, including onboarding and training of new hires, weekly payroll review and approvals, and completion of mid-year and end-of-year performance evaluations

Qualifications & Skills
  • Proven leadership experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations
  • Strong experience managing third-party logistics providers and cross-functional partners
  • Solid understanding of inventory control, compliance, and operational performance management
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to improve processes while maintaining operational stability

Preferred Qualifications
  • Global manufacturing environment experience preferred.
  • Lean and Six Sigma experience preferred.
  • Hands-on experience working with Oracle ERP, Oracle SCM.

Working Relationships
  • Internal: Operations, Order Management, Inventory Control, Compliance, Finance, IT, LOB, and Leadership
  • External: Third-party logistics providers, auditors, safety, Vertiv customers etc.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Operations, Logistics, or related field preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • While performing duties of the above jobs, the manager is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools or other components; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, talk, hear and smell. Required to sit and climb or balance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must have the ability to lift at least 50 pounds.

ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
  • Working in environments that may have temperature variations and/or unheated areas.
  • Exposure to noise levels from machinery and equipment, although not necessitating hearing protection.
  • Working in areas with dust, debris.

TRAVEL TIME REQUIRED
  • 10%
