Overview:Reporting to the General Manager of IT, the
Manager, IT is responsible for planning, organizing, execution and management on all aspects of information systems infrastructure. This includes vendor management, implementation, enhancement, maintenance, system stability, customer delivery requirements as related to the infrastructure stack for the company.
What you will do:- All employees are expected to lead by example and adhere to safety procedure
- Develop and manage systems supporting both IT and OT environment.
- Design short and long-term plans to ensure infrastructure capacity meets current and future needs.
- Implement continuous improvement processes to facilitate and document changes and prevent system downtime during upgrades and necessary system enhancements.
- lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis across interconnected systems.
- Analyze and revise existing difficulties in system logic: provide documentation as necessary. Have full technical knowledge of all phases of systems analysis.
- Provide leadership by instructing, directing, and checking the work of other engineers including 3rd party engineers.
- Manage expenses and control within infrastructure area.
- Implement daily process to ensure that the terminal operates with maximum uptime and effectiveness.
- Periodically provide progress reports about the status of current and planned initiatives.

- Perform other job duties as required.
What you will bring:- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field required.
- Minimum five (5) years' experience in IT project or infrastructure management roles.
- 5+ years' experience in Windows, Linux system administration.
- Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
- IT experience in Maritime technical operation, logistics, transportation or related industry experience preferred but not required.
- Excellent written, collaborative and oral communication skills.
- Proven track record of maintaining IT structural integrity.
- Experience in high-pressure, 24/7 environments.
- Ability to conduct and direct research into IT issues and products as required.
- Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of compliance frameworks such as NIST and SOC-2 preferred.

Salary Range: 100,000-125,000
