Full Job Description
Job Summary:

The IPT Manager owns a entire product team, with the main focus of customer satisfaction, delivering products on time, meeting quality standards, and meeting or exceeding profitability targets. The experienced IPT Manager will ensure safe and efficient operations, enhance the operational procedure, systems, and principles in the areas of information flow and management, business processes, enhanced management reporting, and look for cost reductions.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Establishes success criteria and develops the individual performers on the team.
  • Hires and manages members of the IPT team
  • Oversees the daily workflow, assignments, and work schedules
  • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the defined product line business
  • Responsible for ensuring Customer Satisfaction (OTD, Satisfactory Quality)
  • Direct P/L & financial responsibility for the product line (revenue, cashflow, COGs)
  • Responsible for shipping and profitability goals
  • Manages a cross-functional team
  • Customer facing; point of contact for many customers interactions
  • Responsible for streamlining processes to improve efficiencies
  • This position reports to the Manager, Operations, Aircraft.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations
  • Analyze and improve organizational process and workflow, employee and space requirements, and equipment layout; implement changes as required
  • Responsible for monthly performance reviews to senior management and ensuring proper actionable metrics are utilized at all levels of the organization

  • Ability to handle manufacturing/ production processes to ensure timely and cost-effective production

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering required
  • Masters degree in Business or Engineering preferred
  • 8+ years of related experience required, including at least 2 years as a manager is preferred

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
