About This Role

Seeking a highly driven International Tax Manager to support global tax operations, transactional tax matters, tax planning initiatives, and cross-functional business projects. This role is ideal for a hands-on tax professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at execution, and can independently drive projects to completion while partnering with finance, legal, accounting, and business stakeholders across the organization.

The successful candidate will combine strong international tax expertise with exceptional project management skills, executive-level communication capabilities, and the ability to navigate complex organizational structures to obtain answers, influence outcomes, and deliver high-quality results.

Work Location: Up to 3 days onsite (M, T, TH) Deerfield, IL 60015

Duration: 4 months

Pay Rate Range: $90/hr-$110/hr

What You Will Work On

  • Manage and execute international tax projects, providing regular updates on completed work, outstanding items, risks, and next steps to leadership.
  • Lead and support international tax planning, compliance, and reporting related to FDII, GILTI, BEAT, Foreign Tax Credits (FTC), and Subpart F.
  • Prepare, review, and coordinate key international tax filings, including Forms 5471, 8858, 8991, 8992, 8993, and 1118.
  • Review tax memoranda, technical tax positions, and transactional tax matters associated with acquisitions, restructurings, financing activities, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Legal, and external advisors to gather information, resolve issues, and drive projects to completion.
  • Develop executive-ready analyses, presentations, slide decks, and communications for senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Utilize Microsoft Copilot and other technology tools to enhance productivity, streamline processes, and improve reporting capabilities.
  • Proactively navigate organizational complexities, obtain answers, remove roadblocks, and drive accountability to ensure timely delivery of results.


What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA - REQUIRED
  • 7+ years of international tax experience within a multinational corporation, public accounting firm, or publicly traded company.
  • Strong knowledge of international taxation, corporate tax principles, and transactional tax concepts.
  • Experience reviewing tax memoranda and communicating complex tax matters to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, along with working knowledge of Microsoft Copilot or other AI-enabled tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively with executives, create polished deliverables, and drive projects to successful completion in a complex corporate environment.
