Job Description:
The Manager, Integrated Media Planning is accountable for the planning, implementation and tracking of media plans for a major regulated consumer brand pioneering a new era in the industry, where sophisticated audience segmentation, consumer insight, and strategic rigor are leveraged. The work done on the account offers the opportunity to work on complex market dynamics and develop deeply thoughtful integrated strategies that shape the future of the category.

The Manager will work with the Associate Media Director or Director to set the strategic tone and direction for planning deliverables. The Manager also assists in the development of any important plans, projects, or presentations to the client. In addition, a strong working knowledge of the media space, including digital media and available media research. As a steppingstone to leadership, the Manager is responsible for managing a planning team, including skills development, evaluating performance, and supporting growth.

Key Responsibilities
• Own audience insights and strategy development, translating consumer understanding into strategic recommendations that inform media planning
• Develop comprehensive media strategy frameworks and channel plans, optimizing mix and allocation across all touchpoints
• Manage budget planning, allocation, and financial tracking to ensure alignment with client objectives
• Manage campaign execution and performance tracking, using insights to inform ongoing planning decisions and client recommendations
• Manage day-to-day planning operations, delegating effectively to the Senior Associate and Associate, while ensuring quality deliverables and continuous skill development
• Partner with Director(s) on strategic planning and client presentations
• Build strong relationships internally and with clients, ensuring alignment and collaboration

Qualifications
• 3-5+ years of media planning experience, cross-channel and managerial experience preferred
• Graduate of a four-year college or university
• Experience in a client service structure, contributing to the development and management of media programs
• Experience in reach-based planning
• Leadership ability and experience managing a team of planners and assistants on day-to-day deliverables
• Strong knowledge of media fundamentals and an understanding of key research sources
• Ability to develop and articulate strategic insights
• Comfort with data, analytics, and measurement
• Knowledge of current trends and innovations in media
• Proficient in media planning tools, such as but not limited to: GWI, MRI, Nielsen Media Impact, MediaRadar, etc. New York: $50,000.00-$950,000.00

Omnicom's policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom's corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
