Why this role is important?

Reporting to the Senior Manager, In-store Marketing, the incumbent, will be responsible for the management and delivery of in store Campaigns, Signage and Print materials ensuring that strategic objectives along with innovation through POP captures a unique customer in store experience.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead campaign marketing initiatives by partnering directly with Brand, Loblaw Agency, and external vendors to develop and execute impactful point-of-purchase programs, including signage, innovation, sourcing, and prototyping, that enhance the in-store customer experience.
  • Translate brand campaigns into compelling in-store experiences by delivering cohesive storytelling across signage, displays, and store environments that bring campaigns to life.
  • Own the marketing campaign calendar, ensuring timely delivery of campaigns, product launches, and key business moments.
  • Drive excellence in the end-to-end execution of multiple in-store marketing campaigns and print materials, overseeing briefing, production, and rollout from concept through launch to ensure timely delivery, quality, consistency, and impact.
  • Monitoring performance of campaigns and in-store initiatives, identifying opportunities to optimize the in-store customer experience.
  • Manage vendor relationships while identifying and implementing alternative production and print solutions that improve quality, increase efficiency, reduce costs and timelines, optimize substrates, and maximize overall value.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Marketing teams, leading the implementation of in-store marketing programs across project workbacks, timelines, budgets, shipping, kitting, and fulfillment.
  • Participate in key cross-functional meetings to align stakeholders on project objectives, priorities, timelines, and deliverables that support business results.
  • Partner closely with production team to ensure all artwork and print files meet required specifications, technical standards, and production requirements.
  • Source and evaluate hardware, fixtures, and supporting materials required for in-store signage and other marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and deliver clear, compelling presentations that communicate new innovations, in-store concepts and visualizations, production recommendations, and cost options.
  • Proactively monitor project milestones and deliverables to ensure accuracy, completeness, and on-time execution, while promptly communicating any risks or issues that may affect delivery to management and key stakeholders.
  • Support store audits and collaborate with print vendors to ensure store profiles, specifications, and distribution information remain accurate and up to date.


Required Skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely and demonstrate effective listening skills.
  • Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and project management skills, with the ability to manage tight deadlines and accommodate last-minute revisions.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Access to a vehicle and willingness to travel frequently to store locations.


Education & Job Knowledge
  • Post-secondary education equivalent to a bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, Graphic Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of print production processes, materials, and requirements.
  • Knowledge of the Canadian retail landscape and in-store marketing practices.


Experience
  • Five or more years of experience in retail channel marketing, in-store marketing, visual merchandising, or a closely related field.
  • Experience working within a retail organization or print production company is considered an asset.
  • Proven experience managing and delivering multiple projects with competing priorities, timelines, and stakeholders.


Please note that contractors engaged through the Loblaw Agency work varying hours each week and are compensated on an hourly basis. The pay rate for this position is $45.00 per hour.

Please disregard the salary range displayed below, as it does not apply to this contract opportunity. The hourly rate of $45.00 per hour will remain in effect for the duration of the contract.
