About the Role
As Manager, Practical Guidance Canada, Litigation Practice Areas, you will lead the content strategy and execution for LexisNexis Canada’s Practical Guidance Litigation portfolio. You will oversee the development of authoritative legal content, support AI-enabled legal workflow solutions, and collaborate across teams to deliver innovative products that help legal professionals achieve better outcomes. This role also includes leadership responsibility for the Litigation Practical Guidance team, including Quebec-based content initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage content creation and enhancement strategy for the litigation practice areas across Canada including Quebec.
- Support the development of differentiated content, expertise, workflows/skills, and solutions that deliver customer value.
- Align Practical Guidance with primary law and secondary content to deliver an integrated customer experience in both French and English.
- Manage Quebec content initiatives across Practical Guidance, including translation efforts, software licensing, and AI-related considerations.
- Define content strategy in line with budget, with a focus on authoritative, accurate, current, and comprehensive legal content.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing, Product, and Technology teams to ensure content supports customer workflows, product experience, and business priorities.
- Monitor key business, customer, and operational metrics to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing team focused on customer value, quality and innovation.
Requirements
- Canadian law degree, or a law degree from another jurisdiction with a Certificate of Qualification from Canada’s National Committee on Accreditation.
- Legal practice experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of the Canadian legal market and customer workflows, including knowledge of the litigation landscape and priorities for litigation lawyers.
- Deep experience using AI-enabled tools and LLMs as part of day-to-day professional workflows.
- Experience developing and executing content strategies.
- Ability to analyze customer feedback, usage metrics, and content performance data to inform decisions.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across product, technology, sales, and marketing.
- Demonstrated people leadership, coaching, and talent development capabilities.

Primary Location Base Pay Range: Canada - Toronto (Yonge St) $108,100 - $158,100 (CAD).
This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
