Overview

THE ROLE:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and build an international Governance, Risk, and Compliance function within Technology.   As the Governance, Risk, and Compliance Manager, you’ll guide a high-impact team responsible for strengthening technology risk management, enhancing compliance practices, and helping leaders make smarter, faster, risk-informed decisions across Global Digital Technology Services (GDTS).In this role, you’ll be at the center of a multifaceted technology environment. You will partner with leaders across engineering, architecture, information security, data protection, organizational risk, and business teams.   You’ll influence how risk is measured, communicated, and led, while helping build scalable GRC programs that support innovation, operational excellence, and responsible growth.

HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:

 

•    Lead significant GRC initiatives that help protect the business, improve decision-making, and strengthen Technology’s global risk posture.•    Turn reports, dashboards, and risk metrics into understandable insights, recommendations, and action plans for Technology leadership.  •    Serve as a trusted advisor to GDTS leaders on governance, compliance, controls, and technology risk matters.•    Build and improve policies, standards, and procedures that guide how Technology teams operate and manage risk.  •    Find opportunities to increase risk visibility, streamline processes, improve controls, and raise the overall maturity of the GRC program.  •    Lead analysis, reporting, training, and awareness efforts that help teams understand risk and take action with confidence.•    Build positive relationships across IT, cybersecurity, privacy, enterprise risk, and business teams to drive alignment and execution.  •    Coach and empower your team to deliver high-quality insights, reporting, and recommendations that influence business outcomes.•    Remove roadblocks, bring up key risks, and keep critical GRC priorities moving forward.  •    Give to a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and anticipatory risk control.  

 

TEAM DYNAMICS:

You’ll join a global Governance, Risk, and Compliance team with visibility across the technology organization and significant opportunities to influence how risk is managed at scale. The team works closely with IT, Cybersecurity, Privacy, Enterprise Risk, and other business partners to solve sophisticated problems, strengthen governance practices, and deliver practical risk solutions that support the company’s strategy.This is a collaborative, fast-moving environment where your ideas, leadership, and ability to connect people, process, and data will make a real impact.

 

LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITY:

Qualifications

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: 

 

•    5+ years of experience across technology, infrastructure, and operations, application development, architecture, quality assurance, governance, risk, compliance, or related areas.•    A strategic approach with the ability to turn big-picture goals into practical, measurable action.  •    A track record of owning outcomes, setting direction, and driving improvements that create measurable value.•    Strong advisory skills and the confidence to partner with leaders as a domain expert.  •    The ability to work independently while building strong relationships across teams and functions.•    Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, ambiguity, and complexity.•    Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends, evaluate risk, and recommend thoughtful solutions.•    The ability to translate complex data and risk topics into clear insights and action plans for different audiences.•    Excellent executive communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex topics into clear, compelling narratives.

 

Preferred Skills and Certifications

•    CISSP•    CRISC•    CISM•    CISA•    Experience with technology risk frameworks, control testing, audit readiness, policy governance, and executive-level risk reporting.
