Manager, Human ExperiencePosition SummaryThe
Manager, Human Experience leads the measurement, analysis, and activation of patient experience and caregiver engagement strategies across the organization. This role partners with executive, physician, and operational leaders to drive culture transformation, improve patient outcomes, and enhance caregiver engagement through data-driven insights and innovative initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Integration- Support development and execution of enterprise-wide human experience strategy
- Align caregiver engagement and patient experience initiatives with quality and safety goals
- Translate system-level strategies into actionable department-level plans
- Partner with HR, Nursing, and Operations to embed experience practices into daily workflows
Culture & Experience Activation- Lead initiatives such as recognition programs, onboarding improvements, and service recovery
- Facilitate workshops, focus groups, and listening sessions to identify experience gaps
- Promote service excellence through coaching, leader rounding, and storytelling
- Collaborate with Equity & Inclusion teams to ensure a respectful, inclusive environment
Measurement & Analytics- Analyze patient experience and caregiver engagement data to identify trends and root causes
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and link outcomes to operational results
- Support departments in building improvement plans based on feedback and survey results
Leadership Support- Act as a trusted advisor to leaders on engagement, communication, and culture best practices
- Design and facilitate training programs to build leadership and team capabilities
- Develop toolkits to support feedback, recognition, and performance conversations
Continuous Improvement- Stay current on best practices in employee engagement and patient-centered care
- Support large-scale cultural transformation initiatives
- Develop tools and resources that sustain long-term experience improvements
QualificationsEducation & Experience- Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred (OD, Psychology, Healthcare Administration, or related field)
- 5+ years of experience in patient experience, employee engagement, or organizational development
- Healthcare experience strongly preferred
Skills & Competencies- Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies
- Experience influencing cross-functional leaders and stakeholders
- Knowledge of EPIC or MEDITECH systems preferred
