Full Job Description
Labcorp is seeking a hybrid Manager, Global Sourcing, to join our team in Burlington, NC or Indianapolis, Indiana.

Work Schedule

This is a full0time, exempt (salaried) position assigned to a schedule, with standard business hours from Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in your time zone.This schedule includes a minimum of three in-office days per week in Burlington, NC (Wednesdays are mandatory) or Indianapolis, IN supporting both collaboration and flexibility

Business needs may occasionally require flexibility in work hours, including earlier, later, or additional hours, with reasonable notice provided when possible.

Job Responsibilities

  • Execute spot buys and high-volume transactional sourcing activities in accordance with established procurement policies and procedures
  • Source goods and services primarily through approved and preferred supplier networks to ensure compliance and efficiency
  • Evaluate supplier quotes, ensuring alignment with cost, quality, and delivery requirements
  • Manage relationships with low-complexity, low-risk suppliers, including onboarding, performance monitoring, and issue resolution
  • Ensure adherence to global sourcing standards, procurement policies, and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Support a secure and reliable global supply chain by following risk mitigation and supplier compliance protocols
  • Process sourcing requests with a focus on speed, accuracy, and high-quality service delivery
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand sourcing needs and provide timely, effective procurement solutions
  • Operate within Center of Excellence (COE) governance models, ensuring consistency and alignment with global processes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of sourcing activities, supplier interactions, and procurement decisions
  • Monitor and track sourcing request progress to ensure timely completion and stakeholder satisfaction
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce cycle times in transactional sourcing
  • Escalate supplier performance, compliance, or operational issues in accordance with governance protocols
  • Support audits and reporting requirements related to sourcing activities and supplier compliance

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in sourcing, procurement operations, supply chain management, or finance
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience executing transactional sourcing activities (e.g., spot buys, RFQs)
  • 2+ years of experience working with approved/preferred supplier programs and procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba, Coupa)
  • Foundational knowledge (typically gained over 12+ years of experience) of global sourcing standards, compliance requirements, and procurement policies
  • 1+ years of experience supporting cross-functional stakeholders and managing multiple sourcing requests in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment



Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration (MBA), or a related discipline
  • 710+ years of experience in global sourcing, finance, or procurement operations within a matrixed or multinational organization
  • Relevant professional certifications such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management), CIPS, or APICS
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics, travel, or indirect category sourcing environments
  • 2+ years of exposure to Center of Excellence (COE) governance models and shared services procurement structures
  • 3+ years of experience managing low-complexity suppliers and supporting supplier lifecycle processes
  • Working knowledge (typically 12+ years of exposure) to risk mitigation practices within a global supply chain
