The salary range for this position is $108,300 - $135,500 per year. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and San Francisco location. Kendo Total Rewards offerings also include an annual bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental and vision insurance, flex paid time off program, parental leave, employee discount/perks, a retirement plan with employer contributions, Summer Fridays, opportunity to work from anywhere for two weeks during the calendar year and December wellness/shutdown week for applicable positions.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Global Planning Manager is responsible for leading and executing strategic planning, analysis, and forecasting across Fenty Verse brands. This role involves in-depth analysis of sales data and market trends to inform both bottoms-up and tops-down forecasting processes. Reporting to the Fenty Verse Planning Manger, the ideal candidate will be a great collaborator, working with cross-functional teams to implement and refine long-range category and newness plans. This individual will be an effective communicator who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and take on big and small challenges.

RESPONSIBILITIES

FORECAST ACCURACY & TREND ANALYSIS
  • Own global planning for specific Fenty Verse categories through rigorous pre-season forecasting & analysis.
  • Analyze market trends and evaluate historical sales data to inform forecasts and optimize plans for new product launches.
  • Utilize both bottoms-up and tops-down approaches to predict future sales demand.
  • Continuously monitor actual sales data and evaluate forecasts as needed to improve accuracy.

LONG RANGE PLANNING & NEW PRODUCT LAUNCHES
  • Support Planning Manager with best-in-class Newness & Longe Range Category Planning for Fenty Verse brands.
  • Influence Strat Plan by developing 3-year core & newness category planning in partnership with Brand, Finance, and regional leads.
  • Lead the global Newness Forecast Process across all regions for specific Fenty Verse categories.

REPORTING & TOOL MANAGEMENT
  • Own report preparation and distribution to cross-functional teams, providing insights into business performance, forecast accuracy, and key decision-making data.
  • Implement new planning software and tools to streamline related planning activities.
  • Maintain all essential regional planning tools and files that support the global planning process.
  • Additional projects and ad hoc requests as needed.

COLLABORATION
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with cross-functional teams and international, regional teams.
  • Work closely with Brand Management to understand product strategies, marketing campaigns, and product launches.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain teams to proactively communicate forecast changes and their impact on inventory availability.
  • Partner closely with Brand & Project Management teams to effectively communicate timelines across all regions to meet milestone due dates.
  • Attend meetings with various departments to share insights and coordinate activities.


REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum 5+ years planning experience; wholesale experience a plus
  • BA, BS preferred
  • Strong understanding of retail math (Comp., Margin, etc.) and how to influence metrics.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, with advanced Excel skills
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; able to handle multiple priorities
  • Strong presentation and written communication skills with executive leadership.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, often-changing environment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as with cross functional teams.
  • Flexible with team-player mindset
  • Availability to attend conference calls with international markets (early mornings/later evenings) when needed.
