Overview

We are looking for an experienced manager to join our dynamic HR team as Manager, HR Compliance and Immigration. This managerial role will oversee our Global HR Operations team of seven employees who are responsible for our global processes and procedures ensuring system alignment and data integrity, ensure processes and procedures are compliance with Federal and State laws, create and maintain company policies; in addition to being hands on managing our U.S. Immigration cases. This is a collaborative role working cross functionally with our Legal counterparts, Management, and our HR colleagues across the globe to ensure our processes, procedures, and policies are aligned and compliant. 

 

Our preference is candidates who are available to be onsite in our Coppell, TX office twice a week, however we are open to candidates located in the Central, Mountain, or Pacific time zones.  This role requires regular availability during Pacific Time business hours to support the team's operational needs.

Responsibilities

 Company Policies

  • Identify global compliance gaps and develop roadmap to close gaps.
  • Manage existing and develop new global company policies.
  • Partner with regional HR Business Partners to maintain regional policies and procedures.
  • Partner with Legal counterpart on special projects and compliance related topics.

 HR Operations (Processes, Procedures, and Compliance)

  • Process owner for all HR internal controls; coordinates with internal and external auditors regarding audit documentation.
  • SME for Global HRIS employee lifecycle workflows; including training global HR Business Partners on processes and procedures.
  • Prepares all training materials and communications and train users and existing users on new processes/functionality.
  • Ensure compliance of all HR practices within area of responsibility and standard Policies, Processes and Procedures.
  • Responsible for onboarding and offboarding compliance for U.S. employees; including unemployment claim responses.
  • Partner with HR Technology team for HR system configuration changes, reengineering processes, and data governance to ensure the system is easy for constituents to use resulting in high degree of data quality.
  • Develop and monitor a global data audit strategy to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Own the management and escalations with HR Technology Partners on system and data issues that could impact team’s ability to be efficient and effective in their roles.
  • Partner with Talent Management team to provide support for special projects and execute initiatives.
  • Collaborate and provide ongoing support to regional teams to ensure global consistency across all processes.

U.S. Immigration

  • Direct responsibility for managing U.S. Immigration case load.
  • Responsible for program design, process, and consulting with managers regarding Immigration laws and best practices.
  • Partner with Managers and Finance for program funding.
  • Main point of contact as program owner with Immigration law firm.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Federal, State and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills including the ability to analyze complex information and to define and solve problems.
  • Leverage AI-driven tools to optimize HR compliance workflows, improve process efficiency, and enhance data accuraacy across the organization.
  • Experience developing processes, procedures, and polices to reinforce U.S. employment laws.
  • Strong communications skills; both written and oral with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong leadership, project management and organizational skills.
  • Self-directed and can work well under pressure, multi-task, and produce results.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and meet critical deadlines.
  • Able to build and maintain process documentation, tools, tracking, etc…
  • Able to collaborate with teams in different regions - understanding regional needs and nuances.
  • Able to work with data analytics and make decisions on process and system changes.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to relationship-building, both internally and externally.
  • Ensure compliance with employee records.
  • Additional projects and assignments as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Business-related degree required.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience managing a Human Resources team and/or progressive experience as HR Generalist/Business Partner managing a client group with HR operations experience.
  • HRIS experience required. SAP, iCIMS experience a plus!
  • Must have a sense of humor!

Benefits

Salary Range: $82,000 - $120,000
