About the Role

To capitalize on growth in Microsoft’s Small and Midsize Enterprise segment, Avanade must scale with speed while reducing cost of sale by shifting from custom delivery models to more scalable, productized services.

We are seeking a hands-on and execution-focused Manager, Global AI Enterprise Architect to support the design, scaling, and integration of AI-enabled solutions into our pre-packaged services portfolio. This role partners across product management, engineering, and delivery teams to help develop solutions that can be executed with speed, consistency, and quality.

This role will contribute to enabling midmarket clients to adopt AI capabilities at scale through reusable solutions integrated into existing business and technology environments.

Key Responsibilities

AI Architecture & Solution Design

• Contribute to the design of AI-enabled solution architectures within the Avanade Catalyst Solutions portfolio

• Apply and help develop reusable patterns, reference architectures, and accelerators

• Adapt pre-built AI solutions to support client needs and evolving market requirements

• Ensure solutions meet standards for scalability, security, and production readiness

AI-Enabled Services Development

• Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to identify opportunities for AI-driven tools and methods

• Support the development of repeatable, outcome-based services

• Contribute to standardizing AI-enabled delivery approaches

Catalyst Solution Enablement

• Support architecture and deployment of ready-made AI offerings such as copilots, automation, and analytics solutions

• Help drive consistency in how AI solutions are implemented across engagements

• Enable efficient deployment of standardized AI capabilities

Enterprise Integration & Microsoft Ecosystem

• Contribute to integrating AI solutions into enterprise client environments

• Leverage knowledge of Microsoft technologies including:

• Azure and Azure AI

• Data platforms including Fabric and Databricks

• Power Platform and Copilot Studio

• M365 Copilot

• Support the development of integration approaches, APIs, and data flows across systems

Governance, Risk & Responsible AI

• Support adherence to AI architecture standards, including:

• Data governance and privacy

• Model lifecycle management

• Responsible AI practices

• Partner with security, risk, and compliance teams to align with enterprise requirements

Solution Support & Pre-Sales Contribution

• Contribute to architecture inputs during solution development and proposal efforts

• Support solution positioning by helping translate business needs into AI-enabled approaches

Delivery Support & Technical Guidance

• Provide guidance to delivery teams to align with defined architectural standards

• Participate in architecture reviews and provide technical input

• Support enablement of delivery teams on AI architecture practices
