About the Role:

You will provide a CPA firm perspective in developing and overseeing development of firm practice management resources that help firms address common practice management challenges. Stay informed about developments in public accounting and members' top concerns to proactively identify solutions and resources for Private Company Practice Section (PCPS) members. Engage with committees and members, contribute to PCPS strategic initiatives, and represent PCPS to promote member benefits, tools and resources.

Support AICPA strategies to increase engagement with CPA firms, driving awareness of opportunities in the profession and AICPA resources that foster firm success, volunteerism and advocacy.

You will report to the Director - Firm Services - as an individual contributor and have a hybrid work schedule.

You Will:

PCPS Resource and Program Management
  • Develop, update, and manage PCPS firm practice management resources, tools, surveys, guides, podcasts, networking groups, and member-facing initiatives.
  • Manage projects from planning through execution.
  • Improve resources based on member needs, feedback, and market trends.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver and promote Firm Services offerings


Firm Segment Engagement
  • Support engagement strategies for key CPA firm constituencies, including firm size specific groups such as the Major Firms Group (Top 100), G400 (Firms 101 to 500) and Small Firms
  • Build relationships with firm leaders, members, and committee members.
  • Plan and support meetings, update calls, outreach, follow-ups, and communications.
  • Gather firm insights to inform Firm Services priorities.


Conferences and External Representation
  • Represent Firm Services at conferences, meetings, and member events.
  • Promote PCPS resources and Firm Services initiatives.


Profession and Market Awareness
  • Monitor trends, emerging issues, and developments affecting CPA firms.
  • Share insights and incorporate them into resource and engagement planning


You Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
  • 5+ years' related experience in a CPA or professional services firm.
  • Public accounting experience, including knowledge of CPA-client relationships and a commitment to staying current on evolving issues affecting CPA firms
  • Relevant experience at the Association or a State CPA Society is taken into consideration as an alternative to work in a professional services firm

The Annual Salary Range for this role is: $100,000- $115,000
