A Day In The LifeThe Manager, Family Support will support family members in all personal matters with a high degree of responsiveness, customer service, and organization. The Manager will ensure that any problems are dealt with efficiently and all processes are tailored to meet expectations.
As a Mgr, Family Office you will:
- Handle correspondence with external and internal stakeholders and ensuring fully understand needs and expectations as well as communicate continuous progress updates and successful completion of requests
- Manage all appointments, travel arrangements, memberships, mail/shipments, administration of banking/credit cards, and documentation
- Anticipate upcoming events, plan, and coordinate all tasks necessary to accomplish tasks timely and successfully, ensuring the process appears seamless to the principal
- Research, provide recommendations and drive completion of requests and asset acquisitions
- Coordinate with accounting timely payment of bills, correct coding of expenses, and processing of reimbursements
- Manage movement, set-up, and winding down of households, including but not limited to transfer and tracking of goods, setting up/disconnecting utilities, setting schedules, coordinating logistics and transportation, dispatching/delegating work, and prioritizing tasks
- Anticipate and oversee administration and maintenance needs of vehicles and residences, including handling and keeping current on registrations, certificates, permits, as well as setting schedules, coordinating logistics, dispatching/delegating work
- Monitor the quality of work from runners, housekeepers/managers, maintenance, external vendors/contractors, etc. according to standards set by the principals
What We Need From You- Bachelor's degree with 5-8 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- Must have excellent customer service and communications skills.
- Must have strong management skills as the role is centered on the efficient coordination of tasks and people.
- Must exhibit high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Must have ability to manage and execute multiple projects at a given time.
- Must be able to research and gather information from a variety of sources.
- Needs to develop well-rounded and thorough recommendations and action plans.
- Should be able to anticipate needs and respond proactively.
- Needs be able to work independently and exercise independent judgment.
- Is able to promote, coordinate, and support change.
- Is available to travel with trips ranging from short one hour tasks to multiple day events
Physical and Environmental RequirementsThe physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
