Job Title & Specialty Area: Manager Enterprise Data and Analytics Department: Enterprise Data and AnalyticsLocation: Dallas, TXShift: 8:00 AM to 5:30 PMJob Type: Remote (Texas)Summary: Oversee administration, programming, and analysis of enterprise software including production support, maintenance, and integration of analytic solutions. Collaborate with other departments to prioritize application system needs and assist in coordination efforts with specialized IT or analytic teams. Analyze and resolve enterprise software issues and needs including assessing improvement strategies for existing application infrastructures and related technology including integration. Assist in implementing and monitoring department or operational initiatives as directed by department leadership.
Responsibilities:Team Leadership & Management- Lead and develop teams of data engineers, cloud data engineers, integration engineers, and data architects.
- Establish team goals, performance expectations, development plans, and succession strategies.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Mentor technical staff in modern data engineering, architecture, cloud technologies, DataOps, and healthcare data management practices.
- Support recruiting, onboarding, retention, and career development activities.
Data Platform Engineering- Oversee the design, development, and operation of enterprise data platforms, data warehouses, data lakes, lakehouses, and integration frameworks.
- Ensure data pipelines are scalable, secure, monitored, and optimized for performance and cost efficiency.
- Lead teams to perform platform modernization and migration initiatives, including cloud adoption and retirement of legacy technologies.
Healthcare Data Strategy- Support enterprise initiatives involving Epic, ERP, operational, research, and external healthcare data sources.
- Ensure data solutions support interoperability requirements and industry standards including HL7, FHIR, and healthcare data exchange practices where applicable.
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and business stakeholders to prioritize and deliver data capabilities that improve outcomes and organizational performance.
- Support analytics, AI, machine learning, population health, and research initiatives through trusted and accessible data assets.
Governance, Security & Compliance- Partner with data governance and data security leaders to establish and enforce data quality, data stewardship, metadata, and lifecycle management practices.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, cybersecurity policies, privacy requirements, and organizational governance standards.
- Promote data observability, monitoring, lineage, cataloging, and operational controls.
- Participate in architecture review, security review, and governance committees as required.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Translate organizational objectives into technical roadmaps and execution plans.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors, consultants, and implementation partners.
- Communicate platform risks, priorities, and progress to leadership and stakeholders.
How You'll Be Successful:WORK EXPERIENCE- At least 5 years experience in supporting software analytic systems Required
- At least 2 years experience in healthcare industry Required
EDUCATION- Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Required
- Master's degree or professional work or advanced degree; or equivalent experience Preferred
