The Opportunity
The Unified Enterprise Architecture Team works with Adobe customers across all levels ranging from C-level executives, with a focus on the CIO/CTO, to operational teams to advise on strategies and technology solutions to support customer-experience transformation and digital innovation, diving deep into architecture and identifying a prioritized path forward for customers. Our engagements assess a customer's current-state experience ecosystem architecture, define the future-state technical vision (Northstar Architecture), assess the gaps between the two, and then provide technical leadership to a sales cycle where we must overcome technical blockers and communicate the business value of a combined solution of Adobe products to customer team members.
The
Senior Manager of Enterprise Architects will manage a team of high-performing professionals who blend technical and business skills to architect solutions for Adobe customers. This role helps brands fully capitalize on the era of digital transformation, enabling them to deliver personalized and impactful experiences across all devices and channels through strong architectural leadership aligned to Adobe's solutions. The ability to see, measure, and analyze critical factors such as resources, outcomes, and priorities ensures alignment and clarity across the team, helping individuals understand why their work matters.
Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Architecture - Industry, this customer-facing leadership role offers a rich opportunity to lead senior and principal architects. This leader will serve as the primary technical partner for a Sales VP or Industry Head and will be accountable for technical leadership within the assigned vertical.
What You'll Do
- Act in a sponsorship capacity for deals within an assigned patch of business to ensure application of team standard methodologies and procedures while also driving revenue outcomes.
- Identify, recruit, hire, onboard, empower, grow, enable, and retain top architect talent.
- Prioritize technical workstreams against capacity while driving technical pipeline progression to meet and exceed bookings targets.
- Maintain an operational cadence for reporting and updates that effectively communicates deal status to collaborators on and off the architecture team. Interact directly with individual contributors and leaders in presales, sales, product management, delivery (both Adobe and partner), and engineering.
- Stay on the cutting edge of Adobe products, industry trends, and competitive landscape. Align with Adobe DX processes and standards to ensure consistency across DX product pre-sales.
What You Need to Succeed
- 10+ years of architecture experience in one or more of the following areas: enterprise architecture, data architecture, or content architecture.
- 10+ years of people management experience. Software presales or sales experience preferred. Strong executive presence, presentation skills, and documentation skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment where processes and procedures may evolve.
- Familiarity with Adobe products, especially Adobe Experience Cloud, Adobe Experience Platform, and Adobe's Content Supply Chain solutions.
- An understanding of how AI, LLMs, and agentic capabilities fit architecturally into martech stacks
- Ability to partner effectively with customer IT and marketing leaders; build rapport with salespeople, sales managers, and other presales staff.
- Ability to build strong relationships with Adobe and partner consultants and delivery leaders.
- Solid understanding of current technical and architectural trends across key Adobe Experience functional areas, including Data, Content, and Journeys.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, including conducting research, developing hypotheses, and synthesizing recommendations.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of an organization and communicate complex ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- Proven track record of working cross-functionally in a team-oriented environment.
- Passion for learning, resourcefulness, and the ability to quickly absorb new concepts; enthusiasm for industry and technology trends.
- High level of energy, personal drive, and positivity.
- Open to remote candidates within the U.S. who are willing to travel as required.

Expected Pay Range:Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $225,300 -- $384,675 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In California, the pay range for this position is $265,700 - $384,675In Colorado, the pay range for this position is $240,200 - $347,900In Washington, the pay range for this position is $246,400 - $356,800
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
