The Opportunity

As the Employee Communication Manager you will have the opportunity to:

  • Work as analyst, with content development and planning responsibilities across internal communications, editorial planning, creative assets coordination, and measurement and reporting
  • Have responsibility for initiatives that are complex in nature
  • Understand the strategy/vision of assigned work group
  • Work under minimal supervision
  • Have advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within work group or a recognized body of formal knowledge. This includes knowledge required for complex problems, tools, processes and governance development, strategic analysis of metrics and reporting.


Key Responsibilities

  • Works closely with Communications team leaders and management to develop schedules, milestones, and priorities for internal communications initiatives.
  • Partners with members of the Communications team to identify, create, and publish content; supports editorial and video planning and longer-term scheduling of communication initiatives.
  • Researches, develops, and implements the framework for internal communications, including best practices, recommended tools, measurement, analysis, and reporting.
  • Identifies and implements innovative communications tools and techniques to enhance internal communications effectiveness.
  • Drives consistent internal employee communications strategy, planning, and messaging, with a focus on operations in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. Increases visibility of leadership, regional operations activities, cross-sector collaboration, and technology-oriented initiatives.
  • Develops and maintains a Content Management System (CMS) to drive efficiency and effectiveness of communications initiatives. (Lytho / Divvy)
  • Prioritizes work; forecasts, schedules, measures, and coordinates resources within assigned projects. (Wrike)
  • Manages the internal email platform (Workshop) end-to-end-overseeing content distribution, list governance, and analytics to drive reach and engagement.
  • Collaborates with enterprise and/or operating businesses / teams in development of editorial strategies in support of Employee Communication campaigns and events.
  • Works proactively with key stakeholders, including executives, across the organization to ensure internal communications align with business objectives and support the company's culture and values.
  • Participates in the execution of new or changing brand guidelines and procedures to ensure brand management.
  • Plans for effective scheduling and implementation of longer-term communication projects and programs.
  • Manages metrics and reporting on behalf of the Employee Communications team. Gathers system and engagement data for periodic reporting to leadership. Makes recommendations based on findings. (Web-based and Workshop)
  • Assists in coordination with creative services of layout, artwork, and progress through production for internal needs.
  • Helps track and manage budget.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations or marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of content management/project coordination tools.
  • Strong research and analysis skills with strong presentation skills for reporting of data.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills, Intermediate problem solving and organization skills.
  • Strong knowledge of communications concepts and strategy.
  • Strong collaboration skills.
  • Strong knowledge of company editorial and brand standards/ practices / governance.
  • Proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite as well as Wrike, Workshop, and Divvy.
  • Intermediate multi-tasking skills and attention to detail.
  • Intermediate interpersonal and networking skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge about innovative technologies or applications that could enhance efficiency or metrics/engagement tracking.
  • Intermediate negotiating skills.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred, or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years progressive experience, including 2+ years supervisory
