Job DescriptionThis is a hybrid position and must be located within 100 miles of the Mayo Clinic campus located in Rochester, MN, for occasional on-site expectations based on business needs.The Manager of Education Administration serves as a strategic operations and engagement partner to the Education Executive Office, providing high-level support across executive engagements, event planning, operational coordination and special initiatives. This role requires a highly adaptable professional who exercises exceptional judgment, discretion and executive presence while managing complex priorities in a dynamic environment.
The ideal candidate is versatile, resourceful and highly organized, with consistently high standards and meticulous attention to detail. Success in this role requires the ability to anticipate organizational needs, navigate ambiguity with confidence, synthesize information quickly, develop thoughtful recommendations and communicate clearly with senior leaders and stakeholders.
The Manager must be able to build trust across executive audiences, drive work forward independently and ensure seamless execution across a broad portfolio of responsibilities. This role is best suited for a professional who is energized by a fast-paced executive environment and can shift effectively between strategic coordination, relationship management and operational execution.
The candidate must be highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Copilot.
The Manager partners with administrative leaders, physicians, and scientists to lead and coordinate operational and administrative functions in alignment with strategic priorities. The Manager has strong leadership, operational and process improvement capabilities. QualificationsMaster's degree with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience or bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience required.
Operational experience must include demonstrated competency in leadership, management, operations, finance, communication, and change management methodologies.
Authorization to work and remain in the United States, without necessity for Mayo Clinic sponsorships now, or in the future (for example, be a U.S. Citizen, national, or permanent resident, refugee, or asylee). Mayo Clinic does not participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program.
