Overview

Razorfish is looking for a Manager, Data Science & Analytics to lead day-to-day analytics and measurement across client engagements. You will translate business and marketing questions into analytical plans, manage projects from planning through delivery, and turn data into clear recommendations that improve customer and business outcomes.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on analytical expertise, marketing acumen, strong project management, and confident client communication. You can work independently, collaborate across disciplines, and guide analysts while maintaining high standards for quality and rigor.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of analytics and measurement projects across one or more client engagements.
  • Translate business objectives into KPI frameworks, measurement plans, reporting requirements, and learning agendas.
  • Lead performance analysis, optimization, experimentation, segmentation, and forecasting activities.
  • Define data, tagging, instrumentation, dashboard, and reporting requirements in partnership with technical teams.
  • Synthesize complex findings into clear insights, recommendations, and client-ready stories.
  • Serve as the day-to-day analytics partner for client and cross-functional teams.
  • Partner with Client Services, Strategy, Media, Creative, Content, Experience Design, Technology, and Data Engineering.
  • Manage project timelines, priorities, data quality, and analytical deliverables.
  • Coach analysts and review their work for accuracy, clarity, and business relevance.
  • Use AI responsibly to improve analytical workflows while maintaining human oversight, source validation, and data protection.

The Manager is expected to work independently on ambiguous problems, set the team's analytical approach, and connect analytics and AI solutions to measurable account outcomes.

Qualifications

  • 3-6 years of experience in marketing analytics, customer analytics, data science, measurement strategy, or a related consulting field.
  • Experience managing analytics projects or workstreams from planning through delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of KPI development, measurement planning, performance analysis, testing, and optimization.
  • Ability to translate business questions into structured analyses and actionable recommendations.
  • Understanding of marketing channels, customer journeys, segmentation, personalization, and digital experiences.
  • Strong understanding of the marketing platform ecosystem (Adobe, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Strong client communication, presentation, and analytical storytelling skills.
  • Experience guiding analysts or reviewing analytical work.
  • Proficiency with SQL, visualization platforms, digital analytics tools, or statistical-analysis environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, analytical, marketing, or business discipline, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a marketing agency setting.
  • Experience with lifecycle, retention, engagement, product-adoption, or content analytics.
  • Strong B2B experience.
  • Experience designing experimentation, incrementality, or test-and-learn programs.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted analytics and responsible-AI practices.
  • Graduate degree in a relevant discipline.

The benefits offerings listed are available to eligible U.S. Based employees, are reviewed on an annual basis, and are governed by the terms of the applicable plan documents.

Compensation Range: USD $88,540.00 - USD $141,687.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
