Job Summary:

Manages the daily operations of the Business Intelligence (BI) system. Creates dashboards and reports for various business teams and maintains Real Estate, Lease Administration and Finance-related data on the Property and Store Planning Data and Analytics platform. Coordinates with Walgreens IT teams to ensure proper support and performance of the platform.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations of the reporting and business intelligence (BI) platform. Ensure high standards of data delivery and data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with business owners to build new functions / widgets on existing dashboards. Provides ad-hoc data extraction services and build reports for team members.
  • Design, develop, implement, and document dashboard and other data solutions. Analyze and consolidate diverse datasets.
  • Maintain interfaces and data feeds with internal & external business applications. Perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) on data used by Property and Store Planning team.
  • Manage the relationship with Walgreens IT to ensure smooth operations of the analytics platform.
  • Delelop analytical insights that drive process improvement in the Real Estate department.
  • Develop data platforms including data warehouses, analytic products, data lakes, ETL, ML models, or data pipelines with oversight.
  • Execute against technical requirements for data solutions, including writing SQL and stored procedures for moving, integration, and cleansing data.
  • Create functional & technical documentation related to Business Intelligence solutions.
  • Manage 3rd party vendor(s) for analytics / BI platform-related project implementation.
  • Implement data governance framework and process for Property & Store Planning Division.
  • Coordinate with IT data infrastructure team to diagnose infrastructure issues and drive to resolution.


External Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience in data analytics / BI OR a High School Diploma/GED and at least 5 years of experience in a data management, reporting / dashboarding and BI role.
  • Expert in database technologies with advanced understanding of SQL.
  • Extensive experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines in production settings with structured and unstructured data.
  • Experience in Power BI, Tableau, or other dashboarding applications.
  • Experience using analytical systems and methodology of research data, systems and techniques.
  • Experience with cloud based, big data technologies.
  • Deep understanding of software development lifecycle and version control.
  • Advanced level skill in Microsoft Suite (such as MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel).
  • At least 1 year of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross-functional team leadership.
  • Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Real Estate and / or Lease Administration.
  • Experience in statistics and data modeling.
  • Experience in managing cross functional initiatives and can identify and mitigate analytic / data risks.
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of experience in data analytics / BI OR a High School Diploma/GED and at least 6 years of experience in a data management, reporting / dashboarding and BI role.
