The work location for this role is 483 Bay Street in Toronto until approximately late 2026, when the work location will change to the new Mississauga office at 3 Robert Speck Parkway.Business OverviewThe Manager Customer Data Platform Delivery is responsible for the technical delivery, operational excellence, and ongoing support of the organization's marketing technology ecosystem - primarily centered around the Adobe Experience Cloud (e.g., AEP, AJO, Target, Launch, Analytics, AEM, Marketo). This role provides leadership in technical solution delivery, platform configuration, incident response, vendor coordination, and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring MarTech platforms are reliable, scalable, secure, well governed, and optimized to support Marketing-led, data-driven customer engagement.
This role operates in close partnership with Marketing, which retains ownership of platforms, vision, business prioritization, journey design, and roadmap decisions. The Manager Customer Data Platform Delivery owns how approved solutions are technically delivered, operated, stabilized, and supported across environments.
Key AccountabilitiesMarTech Platform Delivery and Implementation- Lead the technical delivery of Adobe Experience Cloud solutions, including new
- implementations, enhancements, integrations, and upgrades.
- Oversee end to end project execution: requirements, technical design, development
- coordination, testing, deployment, and validation.
- Collaborate with Marketing Technology, CRM, Data Engineering, Digital teams, and IT
- Architecture to design scalable, compliant MarTech solutions.
- Ensure delivery adheres to enterprise architecture, security, and data governance standards.
Platform Operations and Technical Management- Serve as the technical operator and steward of Adobe MarTech platforms, ensuring system reliability, performance, and proper configuration.
- Manage platform environments, releases, updates, access governance, user management, and operational monitoring.
- Optimize data flows, identity stitching, tagging, activation, and cross platform integrations within the Adobe ecosystem.
- Maintain documentation including architectures, technical configurations, runbooks, and integration specs.
Support Operations and Incident Management- Lead any support activities for MarTech systems, overseeing incident response, root cause analysis, and timely issue resolution.
- Manage defects, enhancements, and technical requests in collaboration with the Marketing technology product owners, MarTech Scrum team and Marketing and IT stakeholders Monitor platform health and performance; ensure adherence to SLAs, uptime requirements, and operational KPIs.
- Coordinate with IT, vendors, and business teams to resolve issues efficiently and ensure continuous improvement.
Governance, Compliance and Risk Management- Establish and enforce governance frameworks covering access control, data usage, privacy compliance, and change management.
- Ensure MarTech configurations follow security, legal, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., consent management, PII handling).
- Maintain technical standards for taxonomy, segmentation, workflows, and integration practices.
Vendor and Resource Management- Support technical delivery and performance related to Marketing vendor relationships, including Adobe, Marketo, Demand Spring, Deloitte, system integrators, and Adobe support teams.
- Forecast technical capacity, skills, and tooling needs to support Marketing roadmaps and needs.
Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration- Lead and mentor a team of MarTech developers and technical analysts focused on enablement and delivery of marketing roadmap.
- Partner with Marketing stakeholders to translate marketing requirements into technical execution plans.
- Advocate for MarTech best practices, educating marketing teams on technical platform capabilities and usage.
- Drive alignment across marketing, data, and IT functions to enable cohesive customer experience delivery.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience- Strong hands-on understanding of Adobe Experience Cloud components (AEP, AJO, Target, Launch/Tags, Analytics, AEM, Campaign, etc.).
- Experience with customer data platforms (CDP), identity resolution, tagging, segmentation, and orchestration platforms.
- Knowledge of APIs, data pipelines, web technologies, JavaScript, SQL, and integration patterns.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, DevOps practices, log monitoring, and CI/CD processes.
- Understanding of data governance, consent and privacy frameworks, and enterprise security standards.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interface with executives, technical teams, and marketing users.
- Excellent leadership, team development, and vendor management abilities.
- Strategic mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage complexity, ambiguity, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Skills- University degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of experience in Marketing Technology, MarTech engineering, Digital Technology, or related fields.
- 3+ years of experience managing MarTech platforms-preferably Adobe Experience Cloud.
- Prior experience leading technical delivery teams or managing technical operations/support groups.

- Base Salary: A competitive annual range of $158,000 - $182,000 based on your experience and qualifications.
