Full Job Description
Manages 24 hour/7 day operations for the Cat Scan department at all Temple locations. Provides guidance to leads at Episcopal Campus, Northeastern Campus, Jeanes Campus and Fox Chase Cancer Center. Establishes procedure protocols with the Radiologist ensuring that protocols are followed and that staff is trained appropriately. Communicates all procedural and policy changes with CT Department leads. Manages departmental budget, assists with the marketing and growth of the department and develops and maintains relationships with key referring physicians. Assists in the teaching of residents, coordinates scheduling and ensures the quality of examinations. Works closely with Orthopedics management regarding radiologic patient services, registration, staffing and equipment at all satellite offices. Manages employees in a firm, fair and consistent manner to ensure that duties are performed efficiently and accurately. Maintains and prioritizes the employee work schedule, attendance and payroll records. Responsible for Capital planning of new CT equipment at all locations. Supervises the computer scheduling in cooperation with the Supervisor of Patient Services. Ensures state, Joint Commission, and all regulatory requirements are met. Responsible for maintaining ACR accreditation for all CT sites

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Non Degree Program Graduate of an AMA approved radiologic technology program. Required

Experience
3 years experience in a supervisory position. Required
5 years experience related experience in CT and Radiology Required

Licenses
Reg Technologist (R) (CT) Required
Basic Life Support Required
