Crowe MacKay LLP is excited to grow our team and our Vancouver office is currently searching for a Manager to join our team.

The Role
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of the fundamentals of accounting and assurance services, particularly Compilations and Review Engagements;
  • Understand and adhere to the firms quality control manual.
  • Adhere to relevant professional standards and apply growing knowledge of GAAP and ASPE to engagements.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian taxation for corporations and individuals.
  • Deliver complete product to the Senior Manager or Partner on a timely basis.
  • Respond to client questions and queries.
  • Delegate tasks to all levels of staff.
  • Providing guidance and training for staff members to enhance their career development within the firm.
  • Responsible for managing client relationships, winning new work and managing quality of work completed.
  • Responsible for managing client portfolios.
  • Mentor and coach senior and staff accountants.
  • Undertaking tax research with guidance from senior specialists.
  • Identify and document tax filing positions, including risk analysis.
  • Prepare internal and external client correspondence.

Maintain compliance with the professional development requirements of applicable professional designation(s).

What You Will Bring

  • Prior experience in the industries our firm currently supports considered an asset.
