About the role... You will...- Support the full lifecycle of M&A transactions-from sourcing and assessment to due diligence and integration
- Conduct market and competitive research to find opportunities aligned with Duolingo's strategic priorities
- Build financial models and perform valuation analyses for potential acquisitions
- Collaborate with product, engineering, finance, and legal teams during the evaluation and execution of deals
- Prepare investment memos and strategic presentations for senior leadership and Board audiences
- Assist in integration planning to ensure acquired businesses and teams are set up for success
- Contribute to strategic projects beyond M&A that influence company-wide direction
You have...- 2-4 years of relevant experience, such as in investment banking, management consulting, venture capital, or corporate development
- Experience with financial modeling, valuation, and market analysis
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to summarize findings and collaborate across teams
- A proactive and adaptable attitude, with comfort navigating ambiguous and evolving priorities
Exceptional candidates will have...- Experience supporting or executing M&A transactions in the consumer tech
- Familiarity with working closely alongside product and engineering teams
- Exposure to fast-paced, cross-functional environments where strategic thinking and execution are closely linked
- A demonstrated ability to connect company strategy with external market dynamics
We post a multi-level salary range for all of our roles.This is not inclusive of the rest of our awesome portfolio that includes equity compensation and world-class benefits. Our salary ranges are the same for all US locations. Your recruiter can share more details about the range for a specific level during the hiring process. The actual salary within the range is determined by many factors including but not limited to, skills, experience, education, and internal equity.
Salary Range:
$127,500-$207,000 USD
