About the role...

You will...
  • Support the full lifecycle of M&A transactions-from sourcing and assessment to due diligence and integration
  • Conduct market and competitive research to find opportunities aligned with Duolingo's strategic priorities
  • Build financial models and perform valuation analyses for potential acquisitions
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, finance, and legal teams during the evaluation and execution of deals
  • Prepare investment memos and strategic presentations for senior leadership and Board audiences
  • Assist in integration planning to ensure acquired businesses and teams are set up for success
  • Contribute to strategic projects beyond M&A that influence company-wide direction


You have...
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience, such as in investment banking, management consulting, venture capital, or corporate development
  • Experience with financial modeling, valuation, and market analysis
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to summarize findings and collaborate across teams
  • A proactive and adaptable attitude, with comfort navigating ambiguous and evolving priorities


Exceptional candidates will have...
  • Experience supporting or executing M&A transactions in the consumer tech
  • Familiarity with working closely alongside product and engineering teams
  • Exposure to fast-paced, cross-functional environments where strategic thinking and execution are closely linked

We post a multi-level salary range for all of our roles.

This is not inclusive of the rest of our awesome portfolio that includes equity compensation and world-class benefits. Our salary ranges are the same for all US locations. Your recruiter can share more details about the range for a specific level during the hiring process. The actual salary within the range is determined by many factors including but not limited to, skills, experience, education, and internal equity.

Salary Range:

$127,500-$207,000 USD
