MISSION OF THE ROLEThis role supports the Corporate Development & Strategy team. The employee will help evaluate and execute acquisitions, divestitures, minority investments, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships. You will work on key strategic initiatives new opportunities aligned with the Company's strategic pillars.
Role Responsibilities- Support our global M&A priorities as a member of a small team that influences long-term, company-wide investment initiatives.
- You will collaborate across the company to help assess and prioritize M&A transactions to best align with corporate strategy and growth objectives.
- You will support identifying opportunities for acquisitions and partnerships, including conducting financial and commercial assessments of various portfolio strategies and options.
- Support development of financial projections and manage the end-to-end due diligence process for M&A opportunities. Creation of detailed financial analysis; development of comprehensive pro-forma financial models, valuation analysis, and synergy models in support of potential transactions.
- Prepare high-quality presentation materials for senior leaders and decision makers including Investment Committee.
- Assist in transaction execution across multiple functions including stakeholder consensus building with business teams, internal functional experts (e.g. legal, accounting, tax, etc.) and outside advisors.
- Support post-merger integration deliverables along with cross-functional teams.
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- 2-4 years experience in M&A or corporate finance at an investment bank, private equity, management consulting firm or corporate development area of an organization. Strong quantitative and analytic skills. Advanced modeling skills to synthesize data into meaningful conclusions.
- Required deal execution and post-integration experience
- Strong project management skills including end-to-end deal execution and post-integration involvement with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Broad financial acumen including strong foundation in accounting and corporate finance principles.
- BA/BS with top-tier academic background.
- Comfortable performing in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Flexibility to manage projects across time zones and adapt certain approaches to different cultures. Strong communications skills and an ability to work with and influence a variety of different positions within an organization.
- Some familiarity with the spirits industry or consumer goods companies in general is preferred but not required.
Salary Range - The salary range for this role, based in New York, NY is $145k-155k, along with an annual bonus, 401K match, profit sharing, and medical and wellness benefits. The salary range is commensurate with the candidate's location, experience, and skillset. The range will vary if outside of this location.
