Full Job Description
Your Role

As Manager, Corporate Content & Reputation, you will help shape how external audiences understand our Life Science business, our contribution to science and the priorities driving our growth. You will develop and deliver communications through corporate storytelling, business announcements, financial reporting, and reputation management. You will also serve as a key contributor to issues and crisis communications.

Balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution, you will play an active role day-to-day communication projects. You will also collaborate closely with colleagues across Communications, Legal, Finance, Investor Relations, and other business areas.

In this role, you will:
  • Develop and deliver external communications for priority business, and reputation topics
  • Manage press releases from initial story development through , approval, and publication
  • Coordinate Life Science communications for financial results
  • Create external materials including briefings, statements, Q&As, web content, thought leadership pieces, and core messaging frameworks
  • Contribute to corporate storytelling and reputation-building programs
  • Coordinate communications for emerging issues and crises
  • Maintain core messages, fact sheets, boilerplate, and other communications resources
  • Partner with Media Relations to align announcements, content, and issues communications with media strategy
  • Develop and deploy approved AI tools and agents that improve external communications workflows


This is an onsite position which can be based in either Burlington, MA, or St. Louis, MO.

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field, or no degree with 8 years of equivalent experience
  • 7 or more years of experience in external communications, corporate communications, public relations, or journalism
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and apply AI concepts, including practical applications in communications workflows and ethical considerations around bias, fairness, privacy, and accountability


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience developing and delivering external communications plans and materials
  • Experience working on business announcements, reputation topics, and sensitive external issues
  • Experience working directly with media and securing earned media opportunities
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience in a global or matrixed organization
  • Experience in life science, healthcare, or another regulated industry
  • Familiarity with financial results, annual reports, or other corporate reporting
  • Experience using AI tools in communications


Pay Range for this position: $103,300 - $154,900

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
