Overview
This position is responsible for oversight and program management of the contractor workforce that supports various lines of businesses across LG&E and KU. This position will drive changes among contractors and company and contractor management to improve the safety, quality, and productivity of the contractor workforce.

Responsibilities
• Directs the evaluation and implementation of contractor performance across the LG&E and KU service territory .
• Develops business metrics and feasibility studies associated with contractor safety performance.
• Identifies and evaluates operational and administrative process standardization opportunities across LGE-KU operations.
• Establishes clear roles and responsibilities for company oversight of contractors, and recommends changes in company organizational design as required to ensure appropriate oversight.
• Ensures that each contractor has detailed and effective safety and quality management plans.
• Ensures that contract language provides appropriate clarity around contractor's performance expectations and how contractor's will be held accountable to those expectations.
• Develops criteria and standards governing criteria for accepted and non-accepted work practices & methods.
• Analyzes data related to contractor performance across LG&E and KU operations and makes process improvement recommendations to various levels of management, and other key stakeholders.
• Develops and leads executive check-in forums with contractors that drive performance-based accountability from contractor leadership.
• Work closely with operational leaders to drive consistency across workgroups, leading changes effectively across workgroups
• Organize contractor safety audits to ensure compliance, identify potential risks, evaluate safety culture, reduce liability, and improve overall contractor safety.

Qualifications
Required EducationBachelor's Degree in business, engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience on a year for year basis.
Required Experience- 12+ years or more experience in related utility operation, including maintenance assignments.
- Previous management experience in utility operations and/or maintenance
