The Opportunity

We're looking for a Manager to join our Commerce team with a focus on programmatic retail media, anchored in Amazon DSP. This person will own day-to-day DSP strategy and performance for a portfolio of clients, lead and develop a small team of specialists, and help grow client partnerships through strong results and proactive recommendations. The role requires hands-on Amazon DSP experience across the full funnel, plus emerging people leadership skills and confidence working directly with clients.

Reporting to a Director, this role works closely with retail search, retail operations and other media teams so programmatic investment drives total business results. We need someone self-motivated, collaborative and results-oriented who enjoys being close to the work while helping others grow.

What You Will Do

  • Own Amazon DSP strategy and execution for your client portfolio, including full-funnel campaign setup, audience strategy, inventory selection, creative formats, frequency management, budget pacing and ongoing optimization.
  • Plan and activate across Amazon's owned and operated inventory (Prime Video, Fire TV, Twitch, Amazon.com) and third-party supply, including streaming TV and online video.
  • Use Amazon Marketing Cloud and other measurement tools to build audiences, analyze path to conversion, and show how upper-funnel spend drives downstream sales and new-to-brand customers.
  • Coordinate with Sponsored Ads and retail teams so DSP works alongside search, content and promotions.
  • Serve as a primary day-to-day contact for clients. Lead regular performance reviews, explain results clearly, and bring proactive recommendations.
  • Deliver against client KPIs (ROAS, new-to-brand, reach, detail page view rate, brand lift). Spot performance issues early and resolve them.
  • Identify growth opportunities within your accounts, such as streaming TV, new audience strategies or AMC-driven tactics, and bring them to your Director with a clear business case.
  • Manage, coach and develop a small team of specialists. Set priorities, review work, and support their technical and professional growth.
  • Run tests and contribute to the team's best practices, AMC query library and automation.
  • Stay current on programmatic and Amazon platform changes and share learnings with your team.
  • Support new business and client presentations as needed.
  • Travel occasionally based on client needs.

Who You Are

  • 4+ years of digital media or eCommerce experience, with at least 2 to 3 years hands-on in programmatic, including direct Amazon DSP campaign management.
  • Strong working knowledge of Amazon DSP, including campaign setup and optimization, audience building, inventory decisions and video or streaming TV formats.
  • Working knowledge of Amazon Marketing Cloud. SQL skills are a strong asset.
  • An understanding of how DSP and Sponsored Ads work together to drive total sales on Amazon.
  • Experience with other DSPs (The Trade Desk, DV360) or retailer programmatic offerings is an asset.
  • Experience managing or mentoring others, whether through direct reports or formal team lead responsibilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and able to turn data into clear recommendations.
  • Confident communicator who can present to clients and handle tough conversations.
  • Organized and able to manage multiple accounts and competing priorities.
  • Results-driven with a strong client focus.
  • Proactive, curious and quick to adapt as platforms change.
