Role Overview

The Change Deployment & Adoption Manager – AI Acceleration is a hands-on execution role within Pfizer's AIA Strategy & Operations function. This individual is embedded within one or more AI product workstreams and is responsible for designing and driving change, training, and adoption activities that accelerate AI value realization for a defined stakeholder audience (e.g., Field, Marketing, GAV/Tier 2, or Content).

Reporting to the Change Deployment & Adoption Lead, this role translates enterprise change strategy into practical, audience-specific activation plans – building trust with end users, enabling behavior change, and measuring adoption outcomes at the product level.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product-Level Change & Adoption Execution

  • Own and execute the end-to-end change and adoption plan for assigned AI product(s), tailored to the specific needs, workflows, and priorities of the target audience
  • Partner closely with AI product owners to stay aligned with product capabilities, launch readiness, and roadmap changes
  • Develop and manage stakeholder engagement activities including awareness campaigns, activations, communications, and feedback loops
  • Maintain a structured view of stakeholder readiness and continuously update engagement plans based on evolving product and audience needs

2. Training Design & Delivery

  • Manage training content lifecycle for assigned products, including version control and refresh triggers tied to product updates
  • Track training effectiveness metrics (completion rates, proficiency assessments, post-training adoption lift) and use insights to continuously improve content
  • Coordinate training delivery sequencing with product launch milestones and activation schedules
  • Partner with the Content Adoption & Experience Lead to ensure training materials meet quality and consistency standards

3. Adoption Measurement & Reporting

  • Track and analyze adoption metrics and engagement data for assigned product(s), translating findings into actionable insights
  • Prepare regular status updates, adoption dashboards, and stakeholder reports for the Change Deployment & Adoption Lead and product teams
  • Proactively surface adoption risks, lessons learned, and recommendations that can improve activation for current and future programs
  • Contribute product-level insights to the enterprise-wide adoption measurement framework

4. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build trusted working relationships with product owners, commercial leads, HR business partners, and end users within the assigned audience segment
  • Develop and deliver audience-specific communication materials that build awareness and confidence in AI tools
  • Support the broader AI Speaker Series program (Conversations in AI) as needed, including logistics coordination and content preparation
  • Represent the adoption function in product team meetings and cross-functional working groups

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Organizational Development, or related field
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in change management, learning & development, or organizational adoption in a large matrixed organization
  • Demonstrated experience designing and executing change or training programs with measurable outcomes
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
  • Familiarity with AI or digital transformation programs and their impact on end users and workflows
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to translate complex information for diverse audiences
  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously and deliver against timelines
  • Collaborative working style with comfort operating in ambiguity and adapting quickly to change

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree preferred
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences industry
  • Prosci ADKAR, Kotter, or equivalent change management certification
  • Experience with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Storyline) or LMS platforms (e.g., Workday Learning)
  • Familiarity with Field and/or Marketing commercial functions in a global biopharma context
  • Experience designing AI or digital tool adoption programs at scale
