Job Summary
This leader has operational accountability and oversight and manages the daily activities of the CT department and manages the activities of the Radiology Quality improvement program across all campuses, This leader sets standards for Radiology orientation, Radiology quality, education, training, research, and clinical practices, guides the managers within the Radiology network on best practices in all of the above. In this role, the leader sets the tone and models positive leadership behavior, while ensuring successful completion of teamwork tasks, projects, and responsibilities in support of departmental and organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
- Require Bachelor's degree in Radiology Science, Business or Healthcare Administration.
- Require advanced registry in Cat Scan.
- Require five years (5) experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with a minimum of two (2) years of recent quality program management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer a Master's degree in Allied Health , Business or Healthcare Administration.
- Prefer demonstrated ability in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
- Prefer demonstrated ability to analyze problems and consistently follow through to solution.
- Prefer demonstrated ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving expertise.
- Prefer demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills at all levels.
- Prefer Advanced Registry with the American Registry of Radiologist Technology (ARRT) in CT, MRI, or Interventional Radiology.-
- Prefer demonstrated leadership skills and understanding of group processes and teamwork.
- Prefer demonstrated working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.
- Prefer strong communication and interpersonal skills at all levels.
