Job DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?This role will join the Total Fund Management (TFM) team within the Chief Investment Office of RBC Insurance, where they'll lead liquidity management strategies critical to the organization's financial operations. This role focuses on optimizing cash flow, ensuring risk compliance, and enhancing operational efficiency across bank and custody accounts, securities portfolios, and legal entities. There will be focus on collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Data Analytics and GRM Insurance, to maintain robust liquidity frameworks while driving strategic financial decisions
What will you do?- Develop and maintain a daily liquidity dashboard, integrating securities encumbrance, account data, and cash flow forecasts.
- Assess liquidity needs across accounts and portfolios, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Build and refine short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts using IT systems, APIs, and technology integrations.
- Optimize cash movements to maximize financial returns while balancing risk and leverage.
- Provide insights on short-term investment trades to enhance financial performance.
- Monitor regulatory standards and industry best practices for cash and liquidity management.
- Maintain and enhance desk procedures, documentation, and control processes.
- Collaborate with IT and market data teams to troubleshoot system connectivity, validation, and platform upgrades
What do you need to succeed?Must-have- 4-7 years of experience in cash/liquidity management, treasury, or capital markets, with proven leadership skills.
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of risk compliance, financial optimization, and trade settlement processes.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
- Experience with process improvement and automation.
Nice-to-have- CFA designation or progress toward completion.
- Proficiency in data science tools (Python, Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI).
- Familiarity with insurance or asset management environments.
- Advanced knowledge of regulatory standards in liquidity management.

Pay RangeThe expected pay range for this position is:
$67,000.00 - $110,000.00
