• Analyze RWA drivers, BRR and FRR outcomes, RAROC performance, pricing economics, portfolio mix, and segment-level profitability to identify opportunities for improved capital productivity.
• Conduct detailed opportunity sizing, scenario analysis, sensitivity testing, and impact assessments to quantify potential capital, RWA, ROE, RAROC, risk, operational, and customer impacts.
• Assess the feasibility, dependencies, governance requirements, risks, and execution complexity of capital optimization initiatives.
• Translate technical analysis into clear recommendations, options, pros and cons, and decision materials for the Senior Manager, AVP, VP, and cross-functional partners.
• Maintain disciplined documentation of assumptions, methodologies, data sources, findings, and decisions to support governance, auditability, and future handoff.

Drive Cross-Functional Execution and Ongoing Insights
• Partner with Commercial Lending Product teams, as well as Finance, Risk, AI2, Treasury, Enterprise Capital, Model Development, Technology, Operations, and front-line business partners to advance initiatives from analysis to implementation, including the embedding of controls aligned with risk appetite, business objectives and regulatory expectations.
• Leverage analytics and modeling to evaluate client profitability, capital intensity, RWA drivers, RAROC outcomes, and portfolio performance.
• Translate capital, RAROC, pricing, and portfolio insights into practical decision-making tools, recommendations, and executive-ready materials for senior leadership.
• Compile and interpret capital, RAROC, pricing, and portfolio reporting, providing senior leadership with clear insights into performance, risks, trade offs, decisions required, and opportunities.
• Lead governance forums, business reviews, or executive updates related to capital optimization, articulating progress, risks, dependencies, recommendations, and forward strategy.
• Define and track OKRs and performance metrics for capital optimization using insights to inform prioritization and execution decisions.
• Act as the single point of escalation for complex capital optimization, escalating when appropriate.

Stakeholder & Team Leadership
• Lead, influence, and coordinate cross functional teams across capital, Product, Finance, Risk, AI2, Technology, Operations, and front-line business partners.
• Foster a high performance, inclusive culture that encourages analytical rigor, innovation, learning, and continuous improvement.
• Provide thought leadership and deep subject matter expertise on capital optimization and commercial credit portfolio performance.
• Act as a trusted advisor and brand ambassador for disciplined capital management, pricing excellence, and the broader commercial product organization.
• Support capability building and knowledge transfer across the product, capital, pricing, and risk communities.

Cross-Functional Delivery and Governance Support
• Coordinate cross-functional working groups and support delivery from analysis through recommendation, governance, implementation, and benefits tracking.
• Prepare concise executive-ready materials, briefing notes, one-pagers, meeting summaries, decision logs, and action trackers for capital optimization initiatives.
• Support governance submissions and stakeholder alignment across Product, Finance, Risk, AI2, Treasury, Enterprise Capital, Technology, Operations, and front-line partners.
• Identify risks, issues, dependencies, and trade-offs that require escalation to the Senior Manager or AVP.
• Contribute to a strong risk culture by ensuring analysis, recommendations, and execution plans are aligned with risk appetite, regulatory expectations, and business objectives.

Experience & Qualifications
• Undergraduate degree in business, finance, economics, mathematics, analytics, risk management, or a related discipline; professional designation or advanced degree is an asset.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in commercial banking, credit risk, product management, finance, treasury, analytics, capital management, pricing, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of commercial lending, RWA, BRR, FRR, RAROC, pricing economics, collateral, credit structures, and portfolio performance.
