The Role

The Manager, Business Architecture and Enablement will be a key team member to help bridge the gap between Canadian Banking strategy and operational execution. This role leverages their curiosity and skillset to align departments and capabilities with strategic goals by developing models and documents like capability maps to guide transformation initiatives. This role involves extensive collaboration with business partners, technology and various teams across the bank.

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
• Develop and update business capability maps, process flows, and other business architecture artefacts.
• Support transformation programs by mapping processes, documenting capabilities, and analyzing impacts to business architecture.
• Collaborate with SMEs, project teams, and agile squads to translate design into execution.
• Identify opportunities for simplification, rationalization, and improved reusability of capabilities.
• Provide detailed analysis of business and industry trends to inform future-state capability needs

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We'd love to work with you if you have:
• University degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 3-5 years of experience working in transformation roles
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• PowerPoint skills; confident communicator with the ability to convey ideas clearly
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional environments.
• Experience with business architecture frameworks and methodologies is a plus
• Experience building client journeys, processing mappings is a plus
