Full Job Description
Position summary

The Manager owns engineering capacity and the capability to do the work.

This seat answers for whether the engineering function can carry the pipeline: headcount against it, the cost of running the function, hiring, and the promotion decisions that turn engineers into reviewers.

It also owns the capability plan: which skills the function needs, and the training and tool investment behind them. The estimating and design method itself stays with Senior and Principal Engineer. This seat funds and staffs the standard; it does not write it.

It shares ownership of the solution methodology and the technology roadmap with the Manager, Solutions Engineering: which technology classes and third-party partners the department can offer, and the analysis practice behind the concepts. The two seats hold it together, so what we can design and what we can price stay the same list.
