Overview

This position requires both strategic and tactical abilities. It also requires strong skills in analyzing numbers, intellectual curiosity, problem solving, and a critical understanding of offline and online media. The candidate must have a proven track record in data-rich analyses and be a standout colleague. A 'roll up the sleeves' approach is mandatory and a 'get it done' attitude is essential or demonstrated through equivalent experience. Specific responsibilities include coordination between the research, analytics, and media teams to ensure high quality analytical projects are effectively delivered.

Successful candidates will be multi-dimensional rising stars who are able to employ complex problem-solving skills, and can communicate these succinctly to a broad client and media partner audience.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Associate Media Director to build and complete analytical plans that improve the efficiency of media and communications programs
  • Lead reporting and analytics workstreams across digital media channels, with a strong focus on Search, Social, and Programmatic
  • Perform hands-on analysis, synthesizing large datasets into clear conclusions, implications, and actionable recommendations
  • Translate complex data into compelling, client-friendly narratives and insights (not just reporting metrics)
  • Own development and delivery of client presentations, clearly communicating performance, insights, and optimization opportunities
  • Guide and mentor Analysts and Senior Analysts, supporting development in both technical and storytelling skills
  • Ensure ongoing campaign analysis and optimization, coaching junior team members on best practices
  • Leverage dashboards, MMM outputs, and other statistical analyses to inform media planning and buying decisions
  • Work within internal systems and tools to streamline reporting and analytics processes
  • Partner cross-functionally with data, investment, and BI teams to plan, execute, and analyze projects
  • Manage reporting expectations for clients with high-volume or complex reporting needs
  • Support new business efforts through analytics insights and presentation development as needed

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing analytics, media analytics, or marketing sciences at a media agency, B2B marketing analytics is a plus
  • Strong experience across digital media channels, particularly Search, Social, and Programmatic
  • Proven agency experience preferred, with exposure to client-facing deliverables and presentations
  • Hands-on experience pulling and analyzing data from platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, or similar
  • Familiarity with BI and visualization tools such as Tableau, Datorama, Power BI, or similar
  • Working knowledge of databases and SQL is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and translate findings into business recommendations
  • Excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills, with the ability to build clear, insight-driven narratives
  • Proven ability to communicate complex, technical concepts to a broad range of stakeholders, including clients
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines
  • Comfortable in a client-facing environment and experienced in managing reporting expectations

Compensation Range: USD $88,540.00 - USD $141,687.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
