Reporting to the Senior Manager, AML Finance, this position will support and assist with financial planning, reporting, and analysis of operating expenses for areas within AML. The role will support Business as Usual (BAU) operations by ensuring business strategies, plans, and initiatives are executed and delivered in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures. In addition, the role supports consolidated AML and Compliance financial reporting activities, working closely with colleagues in Compliance Finance to deliver accurate, timely, and insightful financial information.

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
  • Ensure the timely completion of financial performance reports and commentary on trends and variances for multiple audiences, including FP&A Finance, AML stakeholders, and business lines.
  • Responsible for maintaining and enhancing forecasting models, reasonability analysis files, GL details, and decks for monthly and quarterly management financial reports for AML, Finance teams, and business line stakeholders.
  • Complete journal entries and accruals as needed in source systems and EGL.
  • Responsible for loading forecast and plan updates into applicable systems, including Tier 4 and Anaplan.
  • Review and understand business line allocations for AML transits in the Global Intra Group Services Tool (GIST).
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes and in the quality of information related to planning, forecasting, reporting, and allocation activities.
  • Assist the Senior Manager, AML Finance, with various reporting and analysis activities related to AML.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Manager.
  • Partner with AML stakeholders to provide timely support, transparency, and insights to support effective decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Provide expense allocation transparency to Business Line CFOs, with detailed information as required.
  • Communicate information to all necessary internal and external stakeholders, explaining financial transactions and resolving related issues.
  • Champion a high-performance environment and contribute to an inclusive work environment.
  • Facilitate a customer-focused culture with a strong performance orientation and open communication.

  • University degree with a major in Business, Finance, or Accounting; CPA, CFA, or MBA designation is an asset.
  • 3-5 years of experience in an Accounting or FP&A environment.
  • Experience with Hyperion (Tier 4), Anaplan, and Power BI is preferred.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, including the ability to create and manage large financial models and pivot tables.
  • Experience in developing/compiling management reports.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including members of management teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a focus on continually seeking opportunities for improvement.
  • Strong planning and coordination skills, with the ability to simultaneously support multiple projects and complete deliverables on time.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to clearly convey information to non-finance professionals.
