POSITION OVERVIEWAs the Manager, AMG Pricing, you will play a pivotal role in reimagining pricing strategies that balance competitiveness, profitability and customer value for our Affinity Group market. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Pricing Acquisition Strategy, your responsibilities will include designing and working with regional pricing teams to implement discount strategies to attract and retain profitable affinity and employer groups in order to accelerate profitable growth of TD insurance.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES- Contribute to GI profitable growth by leading AMG insight and strategy within GI Regional Pricing and Product strategy.
- Lead the liaison between AMG and Pricing/Product, acting as first point of reference for Affinity-related pricing and product questions from across the organization.
- Own the Affinity group discount strategy.
- Own the monitoring of Affinity groups profitability, including leveraging models, to embed this information into pricing and AMG renewal decisions.
- Own the Affinity eligibility questionnaire to assess new Affinity groups in collaboration with UW.
- Participate in the approval of new groups in collaboration with UW, ensuring decisions are in line with planned profit and growth, including group discounts assignments.
- Participate in the AMG renewal process in collaboration with UW, ensuring decisions to renew or not groups are in line with planned profit and growth, including related Affinity discount changes.
- Own the stabilization funds and profit-sharing strategy, including the support to AMG regulatory and contractual requirements.
- Collaborate in Request for Proposal submissions in collaboration with AMG.
- Collaborate with AMG partners to create communication content for external Affinity partners.
JOB REQUIREMENTS- University degree in Actuarial Sciences or closely related field
- 8+ years in a P&C Actuarial function
- Advanced analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Autonomous and resilient; shows initiative and creativity in their work
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Prior experience with Predictive Modeling is an asset
- FCIA/FCAS completed or at least 7+ Casualty Actuarial Society professional exams
