The Position

Seequent is the world leader in helping customers to understand the underground. With a portfolio of subsurface solutions, Seequent supports customers, industries, governments, and societies to build a better understanding of the earth for a better world.

The Manager, Account Management, Civil, Energy & Environment is accountable for leading customer-focused account management across strategically managed accounts in the region. This role strengthens the customer experience with Seequent by coaching the team to develop opportunities that demonstrate how Seequent technology can improve client productivity and deliver measurable impact for their business. The role translates broader sales and subfunction strategy into structured account plans, clear priorities, and growth initiatives that support strong commercial performance, customer retention, and sustainable revenue growth.

As the senior member of the account management team, this role leads, coaches, and develops experienced individual contributors while directly developing enterprise partnerships with a few critical strategic accounts. The role requires strong commercial judgement, customer focus, and the ability to align account managers with Seequent's geotechnical experts and broader support teams to approach, demonstrate, train, and support customers where required.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
• Deliver operational results by planning, executing, monitoring, and closing initiatives that support team objectives and key results within the Civil, Energy & Environment account management function.
• Translate sub-function strategy into clear annual account plans and quarterly and monthly execution priorities, ensuring alignment with regional and organisational growth goals.
• Make sound commercial decisions within established guidelines to manage risk, build trusted customer relationships, capture growth opportunities, and support retention.
• Develop and own team sales plans, forecasts, and budgets, setting clear targets and monitoring performance against KPIs.
• Prepare and present reports on team activity, risks, opportunities, and performance outcomes.
• Set clear priorities for a team of experienced Account Managers, planning and overseeing annual account plans and quarterly and monthly execution.
• Provide direct leadership, coaching, and development, working alongside team members on key accounts, deals, and initiatives
• Conduct regular performance and career development conversations, aligned with organizational talent programs and policies.
• Provide input into performance decisions (including promotions, development actions, and other employment decisions) in partnership with senior leadership.
• Build and sustain a high-performing, collaborative team culture aligned to Seequent values
• Address challenges that require understanding of a broader set of business, customer, and market factors, including upstream and downstream implications across products, customers, or geographies.
• Apply logical analysis and prior experience to solve non-routine problems and improve effectiveness within the job area.
• Lead and implement meaningful improvements to systems, processes, and ways of working to enhance team efficiency, scalability, and customer outcomes.
• Stay current on market, customer, and B2B technology trends, including software and platform developments, to identify opportunities and mitigate risks
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders within and outside the sales discipline, including customers, partners, and internal functions.
• Clearly explain account management policies, practices, and procedures to team members and cross-functional partners.
• Provide clear performance direction and priorities to guide and motivate the team toward operational targets.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Product, and other Bentley Systems colleagues through joint account planning and execution.
• Partner with Seequent's geotechnical experts and broader customer support teams to approach, demonstrate, train, and support customers as a coordinated team where required.
• Represent the Seequent brand at conferences, tradeshows, and customer engagements
• Oversee key deals and negotiations, providing guidance and approval as appropriate.
• Ensure effective use of regional and company-wide resources to support structured growth plans, new revenue opportunities, and customer outcomes.
• Contribute to broader regional planning, including headcount, resourcing, growth initiatives, and culture development.
• Contributing to the development of the team strategy including headcount, resourcing, budgets, growth plans, marketing, coaching, career development and culture.

To be successful in this role, you should have:
• A minimum of 10+ years' experience in leadership & sales experience, ideally within B2B technology, software, platforms, or technically complex customer environments
• Proven experience developing enterprise customer relationships, building structured account growth plans, and identifying new revenue opportunities while maintaining integrity with customer needs.
• Strong commercial capability, including account planning, negotiation, forecasting, contract management, and risk-based decision making.
• Proven ability to lead experienced individual contributors, set clear priorities, coach performance, and support career development.
• Experience directly developing enterprise partnerships with a small number of critical strategic accounts.
• Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills across customer, leadership, technical, and cross-functional audiences.
• Ability to work collaboratively with technical experts and broader customer support teams to demonstrate value, support adoption, and improve customer outcomes.
• Highly analytical, with sound judgement, strong prioritisation, and the ability to make effective decisions in complex and changing environments.
