The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-Time Management & Program Analyst (NH-0343-03) to work at Air Force Materiel Command, (AFMC) in the Air Force Sustainment Center location at Hill Air Force Base in Ogden, Utah. Roster may be used to fill like vacancies for the next 120 days Salary Range ($89,508 - $138,370) Yearly with locality pay included Job Open Date 7/23/2026 Job Close Date 7/30/2026 Who May apply: U.S. Citizens Configuration & Data Management Specialist (TBMCS Flight) Establish and maintain the system integrity of the Theater Battle Management Core System (TBMCS)-the critical command and control (C2) engine used by joint and coalition forces to plan and execute the global Air Tasking Order (ATO). In this vital role, you will manage configuration baselines, change control, and traceability for the software, hardware, and firmware that keeps our nation's air campaigns operational. Key Responsibilities - Baseline Management: Establish, track, and maintain rigid configuration and data integrity baselines for critical software, hardware, firmware, and systems engineering products. - Traceability & Change Control: Manage rigorous change control processes to ensure weapon system updates are safely, securely, and traceably deployed without interrupting operational capabilities. - Product Lifecycle Support: Provide robust configuration and data management support across all acquisition, development, maintenance, and modification pipelines. - Joint Interface Liaison: Ensure the TBMCS software remains compatible and fully operational across diverse deployment platforms, including naval vessels, land-based wings, and regional command sectors. Who You Are - A detail-oriented systems safeguard with proven experience in technical configuration management (CM) or data management (DM) for complex software/hardware systems. - An analytical problem solver skilled at establishing order, maintaining rigorous tracking systems, and evaluating the downstream impacts of system changes. - A mission-focused professional who thrives in environments supporting high-consequence, real-time command, control, and defense communication systems. QUALIFICATIONS: - U.S. Citizenship - Obtain & maintain a Top Secret security clearance - This is a designated Drug Testing Position. Incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use. - May occasionally be required to work other than normal duty hours - May occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft. Recruitment Knowledge Skills and Abilities: 1. Knowledge of configuration, data, engineering data management, and deficiency reporting requirements as specified in military specifications and standards, and organizational directives. 2. Knowledge of engineering drawings and contractor engineering control/release processes, and tracking systems such as PLM systems. 3. Understanding of contractor estimating/pricing techniques as related to proposal evaluation. 4. Knowledge of, and skill in, the use of principles of communication, negotiation as required to reconcile diverse opinions that can arise from conflicts in contracting, engineering data/data management, and audits. 5. Knowledge of the Organizational structure and contractor operations and familiarity with the various management and technical disciplines involved to sufficiently understand technical and procurement terminology and procedures. 6. Ability to plan, organize and chair conferences and meetings. 7. Skill in developing corrective actions for observed discrepancies. 8.
