Qualifications/Requirements:
The F-35 Lightning-II Joint Program Office (JPO) is seeking a talented logistics specialist to serve as an FMS Country Lead Logistician. This NH-0346-03 SME position resides at our Arlington operating location and is aligned under our International Directorate. The selected logistician will be responsible for managing all sustainment requirements in the Letter of Offer and Acceptance (LOA) for the assigned country. The incumbent is also responsible for developing sustainment solutions based on the F-35 support and sustainment governance that underpins readiness for all F-35 using services and nations, as well as specific sovereign needs of the assigned country. The incumbent is also responsible for coordination of all logistics requirements and any cost benefit analysis that may be necessary. The incumbent will represent the specific country at designated meetings with respect to F-35 sustainment strategy and serves as the country team's sustainment expert for assigned program during major program reviews, inspections, conferences, and other program evaluations and events.
The F-35 Joint Program Office supports the national security requirements of 3 US Services, 7 integrated Partner nations, and 12 FMS customer nations. Our country logistics leads are critical enablers of life cycle sustainment efforts that will keep our weapon system ready to defend the skies for decades to come.

Full time telework or remote telework is not authorized for this position.
Situational telework will be authorized on case-by-case basis according to organizational internal policies.
Candidate must have 52 weeks in lower grade to be considered for the position.
Candidate may be considered for more than one position.
Candidate is required to complete 80 Continuous Learning Points (CLP) every 24 months
Position may be subject to Temporary Duty Assignment (TDY) away from home station (up to 25%).
Candidate may be required to work extended or other than normal duty hours to include evenings and weekends and may be subject to recall to meet mission requirements.
PCS expenses if authorized will be paid IAW JTR and Air Force Regulations.
Position requires that the candidate must be able to obtain Advanced APDP Life Cycle Logistics Certification within 48 months.
Candidate may be subject to a Drug Test.
Ability to gain/maintain Secret clearance is required.

For this exceptional opportunity, we are seeking a logistician with the following expertise/attributes:
Able/willing to travel to customer and product support provider locations.
Life Cycle Logistics, Advanced DAU certification.
Minimum of 10 years aviation logistics experience.
Knowledge and experience in DoD program management and acquisition processes.
Knowledge of the system equipment life-cycle phases and the documentation, analyses, and reviews associated with those phases.
Knowledge of cooperative agreements and performance-based agreements.
Knowledge of DoD budget processes: administrative relationships within the USAF, USN and DoD; and administrative relationships with the systems command and field activities.
Knowledge of the Security Assistance/Security Cooperation (SA/SC) programs to include the understanding of the FMS sales process from case development, implementation, execution, to closure, in accordance with the Security Assistance Management Manual (SAMM), DoD 5105.38-M.
Superb briefing, interpersonal, and diplomatic skills. Ability to prepare and present convincing oral and written presentations to achieve sustainment outcomes for FMS customer nations.
Highly desired: Master's degree/appropriate PME.
