Full Job Description
RMC seeks a reliable and detail-oriented Management Analyst to support our customer at Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Indian Head. The selected candidate will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating business processes, organizational structures, and providing administrative support in creation, modification, and routing of US Naval documents.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Develop or revise Navy documentation, such as standard operating procedures, desk guides, process flow-charts, letters, and memorandums, using Microsoft Suite of applications.
  • Converting documents to Adobe Acrobat with ability to accept electronic signatures.
  • Ensuring all policies and standard operating procedures follow the guidelines required in the Navy Correspondence Manual, NAVSEA Headquarters policies, and procedures for NAVSEA Warfare Centers.
  • Conversion of outdated/obsolete disk, audio, visual, and other media to more current or usable format.
  • Preparing reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Providing consultation and support to management on process improvement and methodologies.

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in any discipline in mathematics, engineering, statistics, or a business or management discipline such as business administration, accounting, finance, economics, or management information technology with six (6) years of experience or an Associate's degree and ten (10) years of experience in performing the following functions.

  • Working knowledge of records management principles, practices, and technologies.
  • Proficiency in the use of electronic document management systems and records management software.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in the use of all Microsoft Suite, to include Visio and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge in creation of swim lanes, organizational charts and basic flow charts.
  • Proficient in the use of Acrobat Adobe.
  • A general understanding of Navy supply, or logistics processes.
  • Knowledge of General Equipment and Operations Maintenance and Supplies procedures.
  • Knowledge of Navy Correspondence manual (SECNAV M5216-M) Formatting guidelines for memos, and letters.
  • Knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Ability to assist the customer with mapping out new processes and procedures to develop SOPs.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • An active DoD Secret clearance is required to start. Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The current annual salary range for this position will be $110,000 to $115,000.
