Qualifications

• Current ARRT in Mammography certification or eligibility to take advanced exam with documentation of clinical experience.
• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Ongoing education: MQSA/FDA - 15 CEUs every 3 years, 200 documented case numbers every 2 years.
• Preferred experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies.
• Ability to maintain certifications and meet continuing education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Radiologist in completing detailed mammography exams and breast biopsies.
• Produce high-quality imaging for evaluations by the Radiologist.
• Educate patients about mammography and preventative breast health.
• Ensure outstanding customer service and maintain a patient-first focus.
• Communicate effectively with patients, doctors, and staff groups.
• Implement precise mammography positioning and exposure techniques.
• Perform quality control checks and maintain documentation related to mammography.
