Job Summary: The Maintenance Technician plays a critical safety-sensitive role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility and production equipment. This position involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of systems, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components. Working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will help maintain efficient and safe production operations while minimizing downtime.
Key Responsibilities - Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and repair production machinery, equipment, and facility systems to minimize downtime.
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and scheduled maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and plant maintenance issues.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate maintenance logs for equipment and repairs.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow all OSHA regulations and company work instructions.
Requirements Education & Experience: - High school diploma or GED required.
- 2-5 years of proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems REQUIRED.
Skills & Abilities: - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Basic math and computer skills to work in SAP.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred Certifications: CMRT, OSHA 10/30, Forklift, etc.
Physical & Environmental Requirements - Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, reaching, twisting, and repetitive motion for extended periods (up to 12 hours).
- Must have visual acuity, speech and hearing ability, and good hand-eye coordination.
- Comfortable working at heights and on equipment as required.
- Able to lift/move up to 75 lbs.
- Work in environments with high noise, temperature fluctuations, dust, and chemicals.
- Daily use of required PPE (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, etc.) in accordance with company policy.
- Ability to work scheduled shifts, occasional weekends, and overtime as needed.
Shift Schedule - 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Mon-Fri, occasional Overtime)
Compensation & Benefits - Pay: $80-90k (based on experience)
